ZOD RATIO TRAINER
Hank & Baldr training without spreadsheets, calculators or guesswork.
Pick your build. It tells you what to train, where to train it, and how many times.
INSTALL ZOD RATIO TRAINER
WHAT IS IT?
Zod Ratio Trainer is a gym assistant built directly into Torn's Gym page.
Choose the Hank or Baldr setup you're aiming for and the script works out the next step for you.
It tells you:
• Which stat should be trained next
• Which of your currently usable gyms is best for it
• Whether you need to switch gyms first
• Exactly how many trains you can safely do
• How much Energy those trains will use
• When another stat becomes the next priority
• Whether another train would put a specialist gym at risk
Instead of:
“DEX is a little low... I think? Maybe another 4 trains? Let me open a calculator...”
You get:
NEXT: DEX
✓ Cha Cha's
TRAIN DEX ×4 · 40E

IT ISN'T JUST LOOKING AT YOUR PERCENTAGES
This is probably the most important part.
A basic ratio calculator can tell you which number looks low.
That isn't enough when specialist gyms are involved.
The trainer also understands the actual conditions required to keep those gyms available.
For the single-stat specialist:
High stat ≥ 1.25 × next-highest stat
For the paired specialist:
Trained pair ≥ 1.25 × opposite pair
Those limits are checked while calculating your training recommendation.
If 4 trains are safe but a 5th would push you across a specialist boundary, the script recommends:
TRAIN ×4
Not ×5.
If another stat needs to move first to create more headroom, it'll recommend that stat instead.
It isn't just trying to make your percentages look correct. It's managing the training cycle.
HANK IS HANDLED PROPERLY
The standard Hank relationship is:
1.25 / 1.00 / 1.00 / 0.35
The problem with blindly sitting directly on the 0.35 theoretical edge is that it can leave almost no room for the next part of the training cycle.
The trainer treats 0.35 as the hard theoretical boundary, but uses a safer working buffer for the low stat while cycling the build.
That gives the high and medium stats room to move without constantly knocking you out of the specialist gyms you're trying to use.
In other words: it trains the build for actual use, not just for a screenshot of perfect percentages.
HOW DOES IT CALCULATE TRAIN ×N?
The number on the Train button isn't a guess.
The trainer calculates your expected gym gain using your current situation, including:
• Your current battle stat
• Current Happy
• Current Energy
• The gym you're using
• Gym dots / gain modifier
• Energy per train
• Faction Steadfast
• Education bonuses
• Company / job gym bonuses
• Property gym bonuses
• Active books
• Relevant enhancers such as Sports Sneakers
• Reduced Happy loss perks where applicable
Repeated trains are simulated individually because Happy changes as you train.
The trainer then combines:
Your expected gain
+
Available Energy
+
Selected ratio
+
Specialist gym limits
+
The next-stat handoff point
...and calculates how many trains fit safely.
So if it says:
TRAIN DEX ×4 · 40E
that's the number it has calculated for your current situation.
IMPORTANT: MULTI-TRAIN DOES NOT SPAM CLICKS
If the script recommends:
DEX ×4
it does not simulate four separate clicks on the DEX Train button.
Pressing the Ratio Trainer button sends Torn one training request with:
repeats: 4
The script contains no synthetic click-spamming system for training.
It will also attempt to mirror the recommendation into Torn's own repeat selector where possible, so if the script recommends ×4 the native selector can also show 4.
If Torn's UI won't accept that direct update, the script simply leaves the native selector alone.
It will never click the selector repeatedly to reach the number.
BEST GYM SELECTION
The trainer doesn't just tell you the stat.
It checks the gyms Torn says you can actually use and finds the best one for that stat.
It understands the difference between:
Active — currently selected
Available — owned and switchable
New / Seen — unlocked but membership not activated
In Progress — currently being unlocked
Locked — unavailable
Only gyms Torn says are genuinely usable are treated as switchable.
If something better is coming up, you'll get a small warning instead.
For example:
George's better for DEX — 9% unlocked.
Or:
The Edge better for DEX — membership not activated.
So you don't get stupid recommendations for gyms you can't actually enter.
ONE-CLICK GYM SWITCHING
If you're in the wrong gym for the next stat, the trainer gives you a Switch button.
Press it once and Torn changes to that gym.
The page then updates the:
• Current gym
• Active gym tile
• Energy cost
• Available training boxes
• Greyed / ungreyed stats
without needing a page refresh.
Switching and training remain separate actions.
The script will never switch gym and automatically train afterwards without another input from you.
BUILT INTO THE GYM PAGE
No giant floating calculator sitting over half your screen.
Zod Ratio Trainer is embedded directly into Torn's Gym page, above the four normal stat boxes.
It's deliberately kept small and styled to blend into Torn's existing UI.
That was especially important for mobile / PDA use, where floating script windows quickly become annoying.
GYM DATA SYNC
On most loads, the trainer reads Torn's normal Gym page data automatically.
Some browsers / userscript environments can load the page before that response is caught.
If that happens, instead of telling you to repeatedly refresh the page, the trainer shows:
SYNC GYM DATA
Press it once and the trainer pulls the same initial gym-status data Torn's own page uses.
No need to activate a random gym just to make the script wake up.
HOW MUCH WAS IT TESTED?
A separate development build was created specifically to test the maths.
It ran controlled scenarios covering:
• Ratio selection
• Next-stat handoffs
• Hank safety margins
• Baldr safety margins
• Specialist gym boundaries
• Safe repeat limits
• Energy limits
24 / 24 TESTS PASSED
The live gym gain model was then tested against an actual Torn train using the real stat, Happy, gym and active bonuses.
Predicted gain: 21.3k
Torn actual: 21.3k
Difference: 0.00%
Safety bound: PASS
The testing and calibration tools are kept in a separate development build and aren't included in the public version.
If Torn changes something later, I can rerun the validation suite without exposing all that debug crap to normal users.
API / PRIVACY
A Limited Torn API key is required so the trainer can read the information needed for accurate gain calculations.
It uses data such as:
• Bars
• Battle stats
• Active perks
• Public gym information
Your API key:
• Stays stored locally on your own device
• Is not sent to me
• Is not logged by me
• Is not pooled
• Is not shared with other users
• Is only sent to Torn's API for the requests the trainer needs
WHY USE THIS INSTEAD OF A NORMAL RATIO CALCULATOR?
A normal calculator tells you what your ratio looks like.
Zod Ratio Trainer tells you what to do next.
It knows:
• What stat needs attention
• What gym is best for it
• Whether you actually own that gym
• How much each train is expected to give
• How many trains your Energy allows
• When another stat becomes the priority
• Whether another train would break your specialist setup
Then it puts the controls directly into the Gym page you're already using.
That's the point of it.
