Newspaper update, TL;DR:

 

  • 12 teams of 1,000+; register Sept 5–10, make 5 attacks by Sept 10.

  • 1 Captain + 5 Vice-Captains, with improved voting/news tools.

  • Attacking starts Sept 10 with 1,000 tickets + 50 lives; from Sept 11, the team with the fewest tickets loses a life every 15 min.

Elimination is Torn's best remaining PvP event!

 

 

Last year was my first time. I loved the drama!

Thousands of players, from a few days old to 20 years old, all together in one team, in one group chat, in one giant fun mess! 

 

 

First the leadership voting: some old-timers who thought they could easily win got bested by a newcomer who decided to spam mail everyone for their vote.

Then the attacking phase: panicking noobs and their mother who suddenly realize that they will spend a week in the hospital.

Finally the longest grind, the elimination phase: pushing every 15 minutes for days in a row, hoping to not be the next team to get betrayed by the others.
