Looking for an ally

I am a new player, recently took leadership of a practically dead faction. I’m struggling to attract members because of my low level, though I have lots of experience in trading and leadership.

Looking for an established faction/alliance that could send a few members my way or at least vouch for me. I always wanted to lead an active trading and chaining faction that could participate in territory and ranked wars once it establishes. Any help appreciated!

For an alliance to work, there has to be in it for both sides

 

You’ve highlighted what you want (which is basically someone to help you recruit and grow), but what do you bring to the alliance?

You’d be better reaching out to people personally because how will anyone vouch for you just from your word sort of thing haha 

 

 

Get to know other leaders and all that jazz see how they run/approach situations so you become more familiar with it all.

If you ask, my original idea was to make a trading faction, which if properly organized, can make lots of combined total profit. But because of the problems I mentioned in the original post, I thought that even if the faction could be like a self organised trading division.

 

Basically, what I need are traders that can generate profit, but also active for regular chaining.

 

I have lots of experience from the real stock market and leadership roles that could be useful to the right people.

It’s difficult for a new player to earn respect in this community. If someone were willing to give me a chance, I’m confident I could prove myself and make a name for myself here.

 

And most people I contacted just ghosted me. XD

You have 3 members and they don't look like active traders. If what you're offering to other factions is a trading ally you are putting the cart before the horse. You need to build up strong trading experience in faction and supply networks and make a name for yourself doing that as a faction, then maybe someone will be interested, though traditionally people aren't really into allying with people just because they are good traders. Traders kinda sell to anyone who is interested in their goods otherwise they don't make that much money, so there's no special advantage in being allied with them.

 

Usually people want allies who will help them gain and defend territory, or help protect them against bullies and raids and suchlike.
