I also have no idea why there is any hate towards you guys like at all. You guys did brilliantly, very strong and effective team. Well done! 

 

I wonder if it's cause we have been fighting you for like over 24 hours . People may have grabbed onto the concept of you are bad. Maybe it's cause you were strong or the Merc contract but it's a game. 

 

Big respect on the fool on GD . Can't believe they didn't at all flip in the final 3 tbh haha 😂 such rookie moves.

Best pushers in this elimination was without any doubts 1º Reptilians and 2º Sticks,
While CT and Apex completely smashed in terms of attack volume/hit counts,

with all due respect to GD, i dont think the flip (or lack of a flip) was where their main problem laid. 

and i totally get that they want to be gentlemen about the final two and all that.

but, i genuinely cant understand the decision not to prep and be ready for the final 2. assuming there was no firm agreement in place for Apex to win (which i believe there wasnt) its absolutely baffling to me that they simply werent ready for the 1v1 in any shape.

I don't have any inside knowledge here but I suspect it's at least partly because GD didn't have to fight really at all during the competition and they came into the 1v1 on such a massive ticket lead.

 

Most elim players have no real idea what they are doing or how it works, many are there for their first time.

 

It's *incredibly* hard as leaders to motivate most players to do things like stack energy (they want the 5% merit, they want the 50 hits merit, they want to train), or to even set timers to show up, turn off revives, etc all the basics, if they feel they have a win in the bag already. And telling people they are gonna lose or that it's gonna be really tough risks demotivating them and making all the smalls, whose energy is essential at that stage, go "welp, I can't do anything now, guess I'll fly/sleep/turtle/disengage".

 

Secondly, even if you can get over that hurdle and motivate players to want to push, if they have barely had to all competition, they aren't practiced, and it's pretty hard to overcome that too. You have a less well honed team trying to fight a team that's learned to coordinate, time themselves, manage their e and cooldowns, learned how to access supplies and revives, installed scripts, learned how to pick targets and fight fast, and on top of that, one that has 300 extra players.

 

I'm not super surprised it went down how it did at this point even if GD leadership was preparing their asses off.

I mean there are lots of ways to look at this.  TBH I actually have been impressed with Gold Dusts performance.  I mean would i have loved a number one finish? 100% yes.  And I think there was probably a window for it.  But if you had asked me at the start about being number 2? I'd be over the moon.  I genuinely think in terms of fighting ability we were one of the weaker teams... but through good plotting, leadership, manuevering, etc, we are likely to be number 2.  That isnt just luck.  Would a betrayal at the right moment have gotten us a win? Maybe yeah, might not have mattered either though.

 

Way I look at it every team is going to have weak points and strong points, and every leader will have mistakes and achievements.  Question is will the leader have more successes than failures.

 

Considering what we had to work with ive been beyond impressed with how gold dust performed.  In a game as cut throat as this, sure luck may matter but luck alone isnt getting you to the top 2.  You can lament not winning the whole thing fair, but I have a ton of respect for how far we did come.

I sent 50 xanax in to one of our vice captains, QUEENWOOG

Naturally, I heard some allegations that she had scammed multiple people

I was curious to see what had happened with my xanax donation as I was being treated like a complete stranger (despite messaging over 400 people to try and get them acquainted to the team as well as attempting to get them to join the team discord) and I wanted proof that it had been used to help the team. Furthermore, I had also designed GFX for the team that were removed from our forum (I reposted them and they were mysteriously removed again). 

 

As per my mail, there was a full transparent donation log

I could not find my donation in the log. However, woog admits that I did donate xanax

I messaged Queenwoog about my donation. I told her that if I was not considered to be part of the team, I wanted my xanax back. She has not sent me proof that they were used for eliminations (which means she probably sold them and bought some stupid ahh item for herself) nor has she sent me my xanax back. In fact, she swiftly blocked me (despite leadership saying all funds would be redistributed at the end of the day)

I have every reason to believe that my xanax was NOT used for the team and instead used to line WOOG'S pockets.
