Elimination drama thread

Listen, it's not on you guys nor on GD for not helping. It's the fact they are getting a one sided beatdown from you guys.

Imagine your leadership looking reliable and cool but when an actual battle came they can't even talk or organize the team. That's the disappointment we have on GD, not on them not helping, it's the fact they can't put up a fight.

Edit: Sugarvalves also gassed them up "Gold Dust, the fourth-strongest team, squaring off against Apex, the fifth strongest." 

Fourth strongest yet APEX who has been getting hit by High Voltage and Reptilians, and who has been hitting Reptilians and High Voltage compared to 50 lives Gold Dust, just put a one sided beatdown. How can he say fourth strongest when a somewhat battered APEX puts Gold Dust belt to ass? 

Like its an amazing feat from Apex but you can see how funny yet disappointing it is that second place doesn't put up a fight despite having multiple advantages in their favor.

If we wanted to know what ChatGPT thought we can just ask it ourselves, you dont need to post it here for us.

Sad to see GD members left out in the cold. Quiet rise to 2nd place as an underdog, but fumbled at the end and didn't even get a fighting chance.

No, i just dropped off 20+ more hits but now im out of E, on xan CD, flying to rehab, and noone in chat wants to even try apparently they just want to play the blame game. 

if by some miracle GD comes back and takes the lead, it takes 2 seconds to update lol. 

It was a good time; I agree. Happy to make it close to the top with everyone because I actually met some cool folks. Genuinely happy we made it this far. Community was really great until the end- even if chat did go to shit, and our leaders ghosted, and 2.5 billion was rumored to have been spent by Apex on either us or the entire event; 6B was allegedly stolen from our armory, and a conspiracy rumored  that Monarch and Chain made a deal behind closed doors because they have never done that before Load image: smiley

It is honestly insane that GD never flipped.

We were sitting in High Voltage, fighting like absolute madmen and waiting for the flip that seemed inevitable.

From our perspective, allowing APEX to eliminate HV without turning on them was a certain death sentence for GD.

Every tick, we expected them to realise what was happening and make their move - but for some reason, it never came.

APEX had already spent the entire day fighting us like hell, yet the moment it became a 1v1, they still completely crushed GD. That was exactly the outcome we had all predicted and the reason a flip seemed like the only logical move.

I am genuinely curious to hear GD leadership’s explanation, because from the outside, the strategy simply made no sense.

They had the opportunity to change the entire ending of the event, but instead they allowed their strongest remaining opponent to remove HV before walking straight into the expected defeat.

You can have integrity but still take advantage of the infighting of no 2 and no 3. They could have swapped targets which is fairly understandable when you are pretty much near the 1 v 1 and then still give Apex the no 2. 

At least then we could have had Apex on less lives and see whether a HV and Apex vs GD would be possible to bring everyone down to 5 lives or so and have a more dramatic end.

Im over it already xD im just genuinly curious about the reasoning behind their decisions. Or better said their lack of. You deserve the win and im glad to see that its this decisive even tho a fight in the finale would be nice. Enjoy and thanks for a chalange!

Why "no fighting chance"?

You do realize at some point they were slightly over 7k ticket lead on us.

They are 4th in stats we are 5th.

So the leader was sleeping and didnt hold their hand throughout every second of the week?

Seems like a poor excuse, and taking alot of credit from apex, who kept coming out with E out of the woodwork.

No one is being salty,  2nd and 3rd place is really no different, everyone is just utterly confused at the lack of strategy and drive for what SHOULD have been an easy first place and it needs to be studied. 

Been saying it from the beginning, they got paid off haha congrats on the win though, definitely well deserved. 

I think they are referring to the fact of how one sided it looks. Player stats dont matter as much as you saw from the outcome. You have massive players sat at 0 hits yet somehow the teams starting stats are used to draw conclusions.

When I say you I mean general you not you as Apex.

People forget that more important that starting elimination stats is the way each team handled themselves when at the bottomg during elimination. Apex was tested vs cannons and later vs RS then reps and HV. Gold dust was mever tested in a similar way so they never had actual elimination practice to stay alive

I put "somewhat battered" there because you guys had to keep focusing on two teams, lives were lost, you got attacked more, idk if you guys spent more energy but I assume so. And still despite spending more than GD, you guys still blow them away.

GD was in a bad position, If they flipped, which I personally think they should have, they'd have just been crushed by HV instead and got the second there as well, I assume they were banking on Apex being more tapped out than HV and would struggle in the 1v1.

Thier opportunity to step in and take control was to turn the top 6 into a 2v4, that would have been crushing but I also don't think they'd have been dragged along to the top 3 so at least they got the top 3 merit?

Again its not about GD siding with us or not, otherwise we'd also crying about Apex not siding with us. It's about the one sided beatdown GD is experiencing. 

She is convinced she's going to start a movement or something. 

It's not my place to say --- and perhaps the news will reveal it --- but Apex has been involved in trying to save numerous asses and fighting like dogs for other factions throughout. At no point were we no ones target - and even when not public enemy number 1, were often trying to keep the little guys up to the best of our ability. So much so, we chose to loose lives to keep prolonging someone else's life. 

No one can say Apex were passive at any point this elim. Leadership and members around the globe deserve a lot of credit.
