I'm not really sure how to put this into words, but we fucking won.
11:00:24 - 17/09/26 Your team APEX came in 1st place after your 772 attacks in the Elimination competition.
A massive thank you to every single person who participated and took us all the way to the end. None of this would have been possible without you.
This was a true team effort from top to bottom. Everyone pulled their weight, everyone played their part, and when things got difficult, you kept showing up and giving it everything you had. Whether your contribution was big or small, it mattered, and every one of you helped get APEX over the finish line.
Leadership
Jairyll - I know you probably didn't intend on doing as much as you did this year, but you were always there to assist me and had my back whenever I needed it. You stepped in to fill the gaps when things needed doing, helped out with diplomacy throughout the competition, and were someone I could rely on whenever I needed an extra pair of hands. I really appreciated having you there to pick up the pieces alongside me and help keep things moving whenever things got hectic.
Maharball - Where do I start? You were the engine of this team. You were everywhere, all the time. Whether it was helping with operations, keeping an eye on things behind the scenes, sorting out issues, or just being there whenever something needed doing, you were constantly putting in work. Your commitment to this team was honestly incredible, and I don't think I could have asked for someone better to have alongside me throughout this.
Maks - I knew things were going to be good when I saw your name on the team page - this wasn't our first rodeo. Another one who put in endless time dealing with supplies and everything else involved in running a successful team. Your experience was invaluable throughout, and having someone I knew I could trust to get things done without needing much direction made a huge difference.
Defectus - My guy. There could have been five of the best Elimination leaders over the years on my team, and I'd still have backed you in my corner as one of my VCs. Spending hours every day on voice with me, calming me down when I needed it, talking things through, and just being there through all the ups and downs - you did everything a brother does for you.
Swatsicle - The amount of intelligence, counter-intelligence, and everything in between that you provided for us was a massive part of our victory. You were constantly keeping an eye on what was happening around us, finding things out before we needed to know them, and helping us make informed decisions when it mattered most. A lot of the work you did wasn't necessarily visible to the wider team, but it made a huge difference behind the scenes.

Alliances & Diplomacy
I also want to touch on the alliances and groups we had set up throughout the competition. Unfortunately, I am not here to share all the juicy gossip, leak screenshots, or expose every conversation that took place behind the scenes (maybe I will edit OP with some more details later on in the day!)
I went into this Elimination wanting to approach things differently to how I had in previous years. That meant putting myself outside of my comfort zone, being more forward than I probably naturally would be, and making moves and decisions that I knew weren't always going to make everyone happy.
I probably drove the narrative for a lot of the competition, particularly through the mid to late game. I went into this with the mindset that I was going to give absolutely everything I had to make this my final attempt at winning Elimination - all for that lovely honour bar.
With that came some decisions and moves that may not have always been appreciated. I may have burned some bridges, pissed some people off, or turned on people who didn't expect it. To those people, I genuinely apologise. There was never any intention for anything outside of the game to become personal. I was simply willing to put myself outside of my comfort zone and do whatever I felt was necessary to give APEX the best possible chance of making it to the end.
And, ultimately, that's exactly what we did.
