I have overdosed on xanax a week or so ago. It was my 5th xanax I have taken in total. Why does the battle stat reduction increase from -1% to -4% right away? is it normal? I feel like I can only take xanax every 3 days. Can i fix it? I am not even level 15 to rehab yet

Because you are in a noob trap faction (Your faction leader even thinks that loss selling loses faction respect and has banned it as a result. )without enough respect for Toleration perks.
(Your addiction builds up twice as fast, and has bigger penalties, compared to someone in a faction with Toleration)
The battlestat debuff only appears when addiction is over a certain level.
It takes you two days for the addiction from a single (non-overdosed) Xanax to be removed by the natural overnight reduction.
As soon as that brain icon vanishes, if you take another Xanax you are going to get it back.

As you can see, it increase Addiction Points almost 3 times when OD'd compared to normal usage
To reduce Addiction Points gain, there are several ways, but the easiest one is to join a good faction with Toleration branch open.

Best way is just to go to level 15 in less than 14 days. Fun fact, you can.

As IndyCision says, get to a better faction, the rest is RNG.
So does loss selling not actually hurt the faction, or does it... I'm in a faction as a noob with the same rule.. just curious
No.
You only lose respect if you are attacked and defeated by somoene.
You only gain respect if you attack and defeat someone else (and you are not currently raiding their faction).
Attacking someone and failing does nothing to the faction respect.
Edit: Your question was does it hurt the faction, rather than does it lose them respect.
Also no, however if you are selling losses then you are not spending that energy on stats and getting stronger, so while you are not hurting them you are also limiting yourself on which war targets you can hit.
However, as your faction has even less total respect and is unranked, I can only presume that this is another one of those "faction being led by a player that doesn't know enough about the game" type things :)
Edit2: Just read the faction description - a lot of whitewashing to basically cover a "I've created a new faction and want a lot of unwitting noobs to chain and build respect for my benefit as the owner, without them knowing that by joining my faction they are screwing over their own progress" - trying to sell it as a hard mode/more rewarding option. One nasty clue in that AI generated poster is the fact they want "servants" :)
But hey, I could be wrong, they are offering free xanax for training and chaining and the 80% of the faction who cannot rehab after taking it due to being too low level might be hitting level 15 really soon, and for all I know there could be faction forum threads warning you about the consequences of taking drugs in a faction with no tolerance perks and promises that this is the first specialist tree that the respect will be going into...
(Realistically if this was a "my previous (unnamed) faction leader gave me permission to create this" type deal, they would have either bought a faction shell with a higher starting respect instead of creating one from scratch, or if this was to be part of a faction family which couldn't afford to buy a better shell then you would have expected a chunk of players to have joined the new shell and chained some respect to get it past the initial "hard" stage)
If you're selling losses, you're probably being underpaid for your E. You could be using that E to train in gym and/or win fights for XP, thereby leveling up and gaining the ability to travel.
