Anyway, sounds like an issue on your side, try turning off all tools and extensions, incognito mode etc.
Stock Market works fine for me, and I've not heard anyone else having issues with it.

I believe the hustling crime is currently out. The other crimes load no problem but the hustling page comes up white.

Hi, i use a screenreader on t Mac os and ios, and for months i have not been able to search the city map, before it worked fine, but now all i see what i guess are peoples tags? but i never see any items.

I use NVDA and windows Narrator, so your experience is quite different than mine in some ways but, I navigate the map by graphics mostly and click on all the graphics that say, 'no description available'.
It takes quite some time since the map is so laggy and I end up needing to click on 20 or 30 graphics at times, but it works for me.
The 'tags' you are referring to I think are likely territories. If you are talking about stuff like "BHB, CVF, CGU", then yea it's part of the map territories.
Spaces in between those, the empty unlabeled spaces, are where items hide.
Hey, so I am playing using a screenreader, and am finding the game fun, but clunky. A lot of places require a lot of backtracking, and messing around to get where you need.
A nice thing is that the education area does say how long is needed, through an announcement to the screenreader, however I think this is a little annoying to deal with BECAUSE it is constantly announced every second, making it hard to want to go into this area. The problem is also that to check the remaining time you do need to click into the education section. The little info section for the character says only the name of the course.
Another thing is the forums. I am trying to be more consistently active, to make myself a name in the game, but navigating to find players who are inactive is a chore in and of itself. I was sent a forum post by another user, where inactive players are listed, and I have to go to this message, click the link, and go through the list, click a user, and then hope they aren't in the hospital. This has happened several times, where I have found people already in the hospital. So, to go back to the list I have to circle back, all the way, to the message I received from the other user, click into the messages, click the forum post link, and so on.
Is there any way to go about this easier? Are there any other good tips for using a screenreader in the game to make things faster, and easier?

The item market. How does a visually impaired player do anything here? There's not a good way to keep track of the price of things, to allow one to make money. There is a chart, but I have been informed, for one, that that isn't all too accurate, and this is just showing as a bunch of image labels, which aren't described.

Which reader do you use? I use NVDA with Edge and Chrome browsers.
If using NVDA, site navigation is a bit tricky at first, till you learn how things are laid out. Make use of headings and single letter navigation for most everything.
One trick, the content part of almost every page on Torn starts with a heading level 4. So, you can skip to the main section easily by using '4' or 'h'.
The education section does read the timer out over and over and it is annoying and I've had no luck getting it changed. However, you only need to visit this page when finishing and starting new courses.
You do not have to check back to see if you have completed a course, you will receive an event letting you know it is ready.
At that point, you can follow the prompts to finish the current course and select a new course. The timer is only read out when you have an active course, so when you are searching for a new course, you will not have to listen to it.
The forums. I think you are getting at a couple of things here. 1. you are trying to navigate forums and 2. find inactives to attack.
Forum navigation for me consists again of using lots of headings, level 4 and level 6, as well as 'G' for graphic, 'I' for item, 'K' for link, 'B' for button etc.
It all gets easier as you learn the flow and muscle memory starts taking over.
Finding inactive targets. The forum thread you are referring to is one way of finding inactives for sure. The issues with having to navigate through dozens and dozens and dozens of links, clicking on profiles to find them in hospital already etc. is not a screen reader issue. It's a welcome to Torn thing. It sucks and fortunately, it is generally short lived.
You could try opening the profiles in new tabs and keeping track of hospital timers. Not a bad idea to learn this trick now, as it will serve you well in your Torn life.
Another way to find inactives to use for leveling is to use the advanced search feature if you are a donator/subscriber. Search for levels around your target level and do some research into finding good targets. A starting point might be to read up on ranks here Ranks - Torn Wiki.
The item market is very useable, but here again, it takes some patience and practice. I would suggest starting simple and searching for some basic items, learn the page layout. Get yourself familiar with the tabs, the various search tools, and the area where you put your items up for sale.
By familiar, I mean get comfortable with the navigation so that you are not stumbling and fumbling around, getting yourself frustrated and irritated before you even get started trying to track prices and such.
For price tracking, it is all about research and search.
I use the item market itself for that and this website as well, to check bazaar prices and for RW items

My screen reader can't find items in the city
Try clicking on the 'no description available' items. Might have to click on a dozen or so, but eventually you'll collect them.

Hey everyone, I’m having a strange issue with my faction upgrades and I’m hoping someone might recognize it.
I’m the faction leader and I have full control over everything else (I can kick members, manage faction settings, etc.), but all faction upgrades are permanently greyed out and unclickable.
Details:
- Faction respect shows as fully available (6,157 / 6,157)
- No upgrade requirements are shown as missing
- This affects every upgrade branch (core, armory, crimes, etc.)
- Clicking upgrades opens the popup, but the upgrade button is always disabled/greyed out
- Issue persists across different browsers and after waiting days
Everything else in the faction works normally — it’s only the upgrade system that seems broken or locked.
Has anyone seen this before or know what could cause it? I do use a screenreader and its VoiceOver and running the latest update , and I tried it on two browsers and my iPad as well and nothing I have done has changed it
It's been a while since I had privs to upgrades but I didn't really have any issues with it. That doesn't mean something hasn't changed though.
Are you sure you haven't spend the respect on upgrades already?
I know it feels like a screen reader issue, but you might do better to ask for more generalized help first.
I'd suggest making a post in Q & A maybe. You would be more likely to get people with more experience with faction upgrades.
Hi! I am having trouble with Voice Access. That is, Microsoft's Voice Access program. I use it because it is painful to use my hands. Clicking a mouse and arthritis do not play well together. I recently discovered Microsoft's Voice Access program and am thrilled to have it work in torn. However, certain areas are not able to use it well. The main thing I've run into so far is the buttons I need to use as a faction leader. I just got through trying to do the payout to people after a successful organized crime and I ran into a lot of problems. [It works fine on my individual crimes fortunately, because that is a click rich task!]
I've been using the show numbers method with the Voice Access program. I say "show numbers" and everything that is clickable is assigned a number, then I say the number. With some of the things I have to do as a faction leader, It doesn't do anything at all when I say the number I want. Other times, it clicks something completely different than the one I wanted.

I think you are referring to Windows Narrator? I have not checked the OC payout function with Narrator in quite some time, but I will check it as soon as I get back from rehab this morning.
Just as a note, the OC system works well with NVDA - Voice Access, which is completely free and works with Windows.
