The guide states: "A limited API key is all you need. The script only reads gyms, bars, battle stats, and perks, and it never writes anything.".

Torn Gym Gains Calculator+ v1.6.1 update

An API compatibility pass. Perk reading is realigned with how the current API reports perks.

 

What changed

  • Perk reading realigned with the current API. The newer API version groups your perks differently to how the old one did. The script now reads the current structure, so Faction Steadfast, the property gym gain bonus, education gym gain bonuses and gym gain books are picked up correctly.
  • Reload your data. Hit the API load button once after updating so your perks come back in. A full set of Steadfast plus the property and education bonuses is worth roughly 15% on your estimates.
  • Dropped the old API compatibility code. The script has been on the current API version for a while now, so the leftover handling for the retired one is gone.
  • Charts load in one more edge case. The last-resort fallback for loading the chart library was blocked. It rarely gets that far, but it works if it does.
