I was wondering if card counting is a thing in Torn poker. Yeah that's pretty much it, couldn't find anything with forum search so I figured I'd just ask.

I sometimes count to make sure i get dealt 2 hole cards. Dealer at a casino has given me 1 a few times.
Feel free to count them. I'll count them too and we can compare notes.
Card counting only works if the deck isn't continuously shuffled. Not knowing 100% of the cards that come out, like in a blackjack shoe, would fuck up your counting as well i imagine
I mean you could, but you'll have as much success as counting the blackjack cards here
There's definitely some pattern to torn poker, but trying to count cards here is a losing battle.

theres 52 cards in a deck. Counting “outs” is like, the bare basics for poker. If youre looking for a heart, you have 2 and theres 2 on the table, there are 9 left!
in blackjack, you see everyone elses cards so you can further narrow down. “2 other player had hearts”. In poker, not the case.

I count cards at night to get to sleep does that count
Many Torn poker players can't read so I suspect many will struggle with counting also

Card counting and calculating your outs is strictly forbidden on any table below HR. Players caught using logic in low stakes are banned immediately and forced to play heads up against Thundergod on FP.
i don't have friends jokes on you, I'm just repeating what i hear other players do. Though scheming to get ahead in a crime thing is probably one of the more effective strategies if you don't care about consequences. I just wanna gamble you ding dong. 👹
