You won't know. Best indicator is there friend/enemy ratio. If a long time player doing it and they have a lot of friends it's generally safe. If they have a lot of enemies, then you know they did something to someone or more people to get those enemies.

I would avoid any that ask for something up front for the chance of winning, even if the organiser is a player of impeccable repute. You never know, they might have bought their friend to enemy ratio setting up a long con.

Unless they live stream and refresh the browser page picking it so it's not fake and you can see the URL bar, they can always fake it even if someone "wins" as it could be their cohort. Some show screenshots/videos as proof but you can select 100x or edit html etc. and just throw that result up. The fact that they even do that to ease your mind in itself is suspicious.

Basically don't trust them unless you already do or they live stream with clear view of the url they're using for RNG and refresh/load up that page on stream.

There's probably some way to fake that too but the bar to do it would be pretty damn high.

If they're scamming it right it'll be impossible to know if they're scamming.

Only possible to know they're most likely not IF they meet the above standards I mentioned.

I'll put it this way, I've seen raffles from people I know, myself included that are trustworthy and were odds in favor of entrants that got little to no entrants and were quickly shut down.

Yet the popular ones are often really bad deals where they profit, and there's no proof their friends don't win. So if the ones that are the least appealing are the most popular, that in itself should say something about the people running/entering it.

Honestly, avoid them all. More likely than not, they're rigged and a lot of the entrants are in on it.

I did one where a guy bought a 42.5% of lottery entries and he won lol the only "rigging" was that i didnt cap the amount of entries some one could buy.
