The script adds a hospital countdown timer to Torn’s attack screen. When you open an attack against someone who is currently in hospital, it checks when their hospital time ends and displays a live countdown such as “Hospital Time Remaining: 04:37”. The countdown then runs locally every second until they become available.

Your Torn API key is entered through the script’s settings UI and saved locally using Tampermonkey storage. When you open a target, the script uses that key to authenticate a request to Torn’s API for that player's profile/status. It reads their hospital status and hospital end time, then uses that timestamp to create the countdown.

The API key is not used every second. Normally there's one API request when a new target is detected; after that, the countdown runs locally without additional API calls. The key isn't sent anywhere other than Torn's API by this script.

Overall, it provides a more convenient attack-screen UI, reduces unnecessary page switching and refreshing, and makes it easier to know precisely when a hospitalised target becomes available to attack.

Ideal for PDA/Mobile users (reduced window capability), still remains compatible with PC also.

Dude no offense but why would you block public access of this? And how much will it cost? If it was js something like one xan I suppose its somewhat reasonable but you don’t even give a set price?

mavri [2402357]

The fact that you want money for it AND you beg for more money in the script's UI is diabolical.

Also imagine charging for a shitty vibe coded script lmfao.

Aevyn [4427995]

Tbf I do vibe coding as my main source but HOLY I would NOT charge someone for something of this scale. If u ever need simple custom scripts to make your everyday better please just dm me I WILL take the time to help you cuz I have too much time rn and idk what to use it on other than having fun with family, playing random games and checking in torn every so often. (Seriously i rly do) and sry for the ad on someone elses forum but seriously please, just make this free.

You can just open mini profile from the back arrow on the top right of the attack loader and you are charging for this shit

Taking on the strong feedback - I do agree. Its a new area for me, mistakes were made and releasing as a free available link makes the most sense.

Great to hear! I hope you come up something great that deserves a payment option, i am not sure what vibe code is, but everyone starts somewhere, so good on you for trying!

ABSOLUTE GOAT this woman started off the wrong foot but they actually took the time to fix their own mistakes. This was their first time and although she was excited about the money aspect of the script industry, she was open to ideas unlike a lot of people so seriously shout out to ELEK. Was genuinely such a mature person

Vibe coding is coding with AI.

There's additional risk involved due to the creator/co creator/whatever you want to call someone using AI to code, maybe not knowing exactly what is going on under the hood, potentially opening users/the creator up to a fed. Staff have, to the best of my knowledge, taken a hard stance on vibe coding not being an excuse for rule breaks.

Aevyn [4427995]

Yeah I do vibe coding but I HAVE to know what the hell is actually happening under the hood (AI doesn’t make it work anyway). I only use AI bc I’m lazy and don’t have to persistence to figure new things out (well I did at one point but then gave up quickly). The main problem for me is burnout and like rly quick burnout and I js quit immediately after and then repeat the same process (yeah I never learn). The AI has no freaking idea how the html layout and structure works so I have to hold its hand and guide it through everything. At one point the AI was making text labels on top of a button SVG 🤦‍♂️
