Black List Broken

So I recently over-spent on Torn and have being over-drawn I decided to go to my Black List, the place where I kept a list of all my 'targets' who had a certain level of cash so that in a pinch I could raise money. So I went to the Black List page and what would you know, the damn thing is broken. Well I suppose'broken' is being favourable -in truth itsf**ked up beyond belief. It doesn'teven appear anymore other than an optional tutorial.I don't knowhow its possiblethat they managed to break something that worked perfectly fine before - especially considering this is stuff people pay to have accessto.

I waited 15 minutes, I've tried reloading the page over a dozen timesand using different browsers including Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. I think its safe to say the update is a complete failure when basic things that worked before are now broken to the point where they no longer work (Or even bother showing up)

Though thank f**k that the utterly pointless tutorial is their... where would we be without that right? You cant access your black list that you paid for - however you can have this optional tutorial that tells you what is missing.

Well done on breaking another aspect of the game that - while not perfect before the update - was at the very least playable.

Also wondering if people who have donated a large amount to the game should demand some compensation - after all for myself having a bunch of donator days is now pointless when one of the main benefits does not work.

IceBlueFire [776]Mine seems to be working just fine...I'd say it's more a case by case, than "the whole thing is broken".

Then show us a screenshot of it working. AFAIK it's FUBAR'ed for everyone....

It works for me too.

(I've already taken OP off my enemies, it was just to show it wasn't an empty list. If you need, I could add a full list of people to it and it would still work- I only deleted them the other day because I didn't like the "who's online" thing showing up.)

IceBlueFire [776]Had to do some editing...but yeah. Works just fine for me. I don't know what the common denominator is, but it's definitely not a blanket.

Wtf! Mine works now. I currently don't know if it's the steps I did that somehow resolved something.
What I did EXACTLY:

1) I went to my blacklist, it was empty, I refreshed, still empty. Nothing was showing.
2) I went to IceBlueFire's profile, clicked the "Add this person to your black list" icon (for testing). It went to my blacklist which was empty, and I couldn't do anything.
3) I noticed my enemies list in the sidebar was green and said "1" (being 1 of my enemies online). I can't say for certain whether it was red with 0 before I noticed this, but for some reason I think it was.
4) I now went to the blacklist again, and now it works :S...

Either something to do with at least 1 of the enemies needing to be online, OR that I triggered something by trying to add someone to blacklist.

Anyone else care to try this out, and come back with some feedback?

Above seems to be have been wrong, rather it might be due to opening console/developer tools that it suddenly worked.

IceBlueFire [776]The two that posted a working blacklist are both on the committee. I wonder if that's why it hasn't been noticed by us (cause we weren't aware it was an issue during testing). So far, that's the only difference i can put together.

I just tried following your steps Cyberdude. Tried to add you to my list. My enemies nav item was red (0) before and stayed that way after too and I still can't see my blacklist. I got 2 people waiting to go on it now (not you mind ;))

I have noticed that sometimes my enemies nav item is green with (1) or more but regardless of what status that is showing my blacklist never appears, just the tutorial block

edited: and in fact currently now both friends and enemies are green (1) but still friends is the only one working

I mentioned this same thing back in the "bugs" topic but it doesn't seem to be an issue they can be bothered with fixing. Mine is doing the same thing. When the people that should be showing on my enemies list page come online they actually do somehow show up on the drop down list on the sidebar even though my enemies page is blank...odd

just tried my dropdown and mine works too! I'm sure it didn't used to :) Game's makin a fool of me!

Drop down works only when that enemy comes online, so the list isn't lost or anything it's just not showing up on our "enemy list page". It still sucks because you can't check on them unless they are online when you are which is dumb. FIX PLEASE

I just checked mine and it is 50% working. The list comes up but the problem is that if I want to do anything i have to look at the person on my blacklist and then go a and do a search for them as I cannot attack them oe even access their profile from the list.

I don't know if its a bug or if it was designed that way. real pain in the assnot being able to access their profile. Did any committee members have this problem during testing?

Added Cyberdude, was his idea, still can't get it working :P
