Nerve Nerf?

Ok so after Rekker telling me it's taking him a lot more arsons to get his 45nnb back, i've just been hit with a drop from a strong 45nnb that i've had for months.

Lately i started working towards Computer Crimes, just doing simple viruses, never got a red. Well not until after the busting update, 2 failed busts is followed by 3 reds doing Simple Virus crimes and a drop to a 40nnb from a 45nnb that had a solid 1.5k arsons on it after it had been re-achieved from being lost previously.

Now i'm not too knowledgeable on how much Computer Crimes can kill your nerve but i thought 3 reds wouldn't be enough xD

So if anyone can shed some light on this it would be helpful. Are crimes getting harder or does failed busts now damage your crime experience?

If you want cpu crime merit do stealth virus, only green and blue results

Computer crime reds are known for being harsh as f**k.

And I have a hard time calling a 3-month old no-busts 45nb "strong".

I quite a few times in the past have dropped to 40 NNB & will have it back the next day doing arsons

Since this busting update I dropped to 40 NNB the day before doing only arson since & busting and still on 40 NNB so that tells me there has definitely been a reduction in crime experience you get now to what it was previously

lol i have no helpful input except just stick to steatlhs for virus crimes

i dropped to 40 right after the update on something i never failed on and still have not it back so im thinking 2 more months.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this drop in crime success rate/nerve bar nerf as 3/150 being red shouldn't have such a big impact in my eyes.

Guess stealth virus is the way to go for this merit >.>

Red hits the crime xp really hard as it takes away a significant % of your crime xp.
If you really want to try and test out your theory whether failed busts take away a lot of crime xp, just get your nb back to 45, do a few hundred arsons and then continually try to bust people with 24h.
I doubt you will get back to 40 nb in any reasonable time.
It's probably just coincidence that you dropped to 40 nb right after the busting change.

Presumably it's more likely to be the failed busts under the new system that have increased exp loss, rather than the crime system as that hasn't changed yet.

Pretty sure they're talking about the 18nb computer crimes which are much much worse.

I haven't done a single drug crime since April/May...Only Arsons and GTA 1 for the 1k merit (no reds). Which is why it's baffled me. Waiting to see how many Warhouses it take to get it back, wouldn't expect it to take more than 50-100...

I haven't done a single drug crime since April/May...Only Arsons and GTA 1 for the 1k merit (no reds). Which is why it's baffled me. Waiting to see how many Warhouses it take to get it back, wouldn't expect it to take more than 50-100...

Right you mentioned the drug crimes to explain why you lost your NB previously, to say that you've had your 45 for a year. But you haven't had your 45 for a year. You've had it on and off for a year. Which didn't make it strong.

Before you lost it recently you didn't have it very long, and you didn't have THAT many safe crimes on it, and you didn't bust, so it wasn't a strong 45nb. I'd consider it pretty fresh, and then you trashed it with computer crime reds that are known to be harsh.

Didn't say it was likely, just it was *slightly* more likely than an undisclosed update to crimes, which people whinge about on a weekly basis.
