Only once? I'm not sure why you said that since I didn't say you lost it more than that. Strangely YOU did say that you lost it more than once.
xMrPink [221113]ReyDuvall i've had a 45nb for a good year now, just drops now and then when doing the odd burst of drug crimes, last time it dropped it only took a day of warehouse to get back
The last part makes it clear that by drop you mean you lost your 45nb, and the middle part says you've lost it "now and then" from drug crimes, which certainly indicates more than 1x.
xMrPink [221113]Ok so after Rekker telling me it's taking him a lot more arsons to get his 45nnb back, i've just been hit with a drop from a strong 45nnb that i've had for months.
Lately i started working towards Computer Crimes, just doing simple viruses, never got a red. Well not until after the busting update, 2 failed busts is followed by 3 reds doing Simple Virus crimes and a drop to a 40nnb from a 45nnb that had a solid 1.5k arsons on it after it had been re-achieved from being lost previously.
Now i'm not too knowledgeable on how much Computer Crimes can kill your nerve but i thought 3 reds wouldn't be enough xD
So if anyone can shed some light on this it would be helpful. Are crimes getting harder or does failed busts now damage your crime experience?
I also lost my 45nerve that I had for years after 3-4 failed busts. failing to bust someone especially with lot's of time in jail, probably loses huge amount of crime experience.
I'm not even trying again to bust people with more than 12h in jail, not at least I get my full nerve bar again.
Did your nerve drop ONLY from failing busts? Or had you recently been jailed from a crime too?
It's one thing to lose a nerve bar from failing drug crimes... They wreck crime exp after all...This is the first I'm now hearing off people losing nerve from failing busts though (Serious bad news if confirmed)
I wouldn't be at all surprised if failing a bust DOES now damage nerve bar... but if it's to the extent that people are claiming it to be then there's something wrong here with what was added in this update when it comes to that aspect of busts :|
I guess that ends with a question to Ched... I know you wanted to make the jail more punishing... But is busting even worthwhile anymore? Will we see a net gain to crime experience if we bust regularly? Or is it now purely for merits and will result in an overall reduction in our crime experience?

I'd be curious to know too. I hope Ched picks this up and replies.
As far as I notice, things didn't change. I keep doing arsons and stealth virus crimes. Keep getting as much red and blue as before.
Nerve bar is stable and I am still able to do PA's.
The new bust system I personally love, it does what it's supposed to do. At the moment I'm almost able to bust without getting caught in the new system, but if you lose alot of crime exp from busting I should notice in failing PA's. My guess is you still get crime exp from busting and it's only the busting out mechanism that's gotten harder, or maybe not even that but only the buy out prices and the bust out times for people who tried to bust other people and got caught.
