I don't care about the cash or whatever because its what he done was "okay" in Torns eyes but surely making fun of and using 'dying kids' as an excuse should be HIGHLY frowned upon, I mean scamming in game cash isn't going to affect anybody outside of Torn... Duke should think about what he says before he gets thrown out by the people.
Imo Duke is a part of the game. Its role play. Acting and nothing more. Next time you watch an episode of Law & Order SVU or maybe even a horror film depicting brutal torture... will you stand up and say "Omg! That's sick stuff! No one should be watching that!"

Also, whoever types for Duke made a joke about dying kids. He didn't make fun of any real dying kids. How can you possibly find that offensive enough to complain about?
I swear, Ched should be using Duke to collect data. There must be charities out there looking to help people who are so dim they constantly run the risk of endangering themselves in the real world.

The problem today is we spend so much time getting offended for other people we just cry out to become targets of those of us who live in the real world.
I love this community. Always supporting of new players. Never once have i read a senior player just outright assume noobs have the knowledge of there 10 years playing.
To anyone around my age or younger i doubt they would have known an NPC is also played by real people. The first month or so i did not do anything but try understand the game. There is a lot to take on for a new player! I have recently referred people. One of which is only a few days old. We have talked about this and he also did not see this coming. Myself and him have played RPG games for years so we are not new in that regard. To expect an NPC to do that requires knowing the game. Not a question of "Brains" Although i took it as you attempting to insult rather than be constructive anyway.
Some will say well if its too good to be true then it probably is right? Well duke just a month or so before that was giving away shit every day. Thats about the only interaction i have had with duke as i expect most my age or younger.....
Yep i fell for it big time. Scamming is typically banned from all RPG games i have played over the years. Again as i said, perhaps you did not read or struggle with the written word. He is a NPC which means Non Playing Character. You with me? This is TORN specific behavior here not typical. You got me? Having real players use the NPC and scam members.... Well yep thats a first for me on any RPG game period.
I expect pieces of shit like you to try scam me and that wont happen, but yea staff and NPC i guess im susceptible or was.
Someone approved by Ched obviously, but not a staff member in the strict sense of the word as it is used in Torn. Ched likes to mind**** people by random negative events, like xanax od's. I think Duke should be seen in that context. Makes things less boring.
