* IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT *

The time has come to end this thread's run. As I write this now (Oct 16), the bar inventory stands at [Bottle of Beer x175], and I won't be looking for further beer donations to keep inventory in stock at this time. We have gone through over another 37,000+ bottles of beer in the past 2-3 months since the last update and we are nearly tapped out, all from daily beer requests and games and prizes. It has been a fun ride, with many a fun games played along in here. Thanks to all who have participated and made this thread a fun little place in the little ol' Fun & Games forum. I think it is mostly just time to move on to the next idea when it comes and to leave this thread as ran its course. I won't say 100% that it is gone and done, but as soon as this last 175 beer in inventory runs out, I will be closing down the bar for beer requests, and most likely for the end.

A quick look at the stats during this time:

We have had over 500 forum pages

It has been active nearly 8 months 

I have sent out well over 4200 unique item sends (mostly from this thread)

There has been over 117,000 bottles of beer sent out

Some kind folk have also sent out 1000s of candies and plushies

There has been 30+ larger and unique games and plenty of smaller games pop up

The thread has morphed a few times, changing in format or layout, but has stayed alive and active throughout

And much much more worthy of being mentioned, but will just keep it simple saying it's been a fun thread and I thank again all the supporters and participates here in the Bar Torn City thread.

All you need to do is Post "Request 5" or "Request 10" or "Request 15" or "Request 20" or "Request 25"

That's it. Post your request and get free beer.

If I am not online or not active on the forums, do not worry, I will fulfill the beer requests in this thread when able.

Note, it does not have to be beer, it can be your drink of choice, coffee, tea, lemonade, wine, liquor, Kool-aid, whatever... And, you don't need to be in the photo, just include the quote, name/ID, and date, and whatever in the pic...

2. Bar Torn City Raceway

Races for fun for all driver skills, beer prize set for each race for finishing in a certain place (not top 3 or last 3)

Bar origin story ~ Feb 20, 2018 ~

About:
Once upon a time, I put on an event related to drinking Torn Beer (Torntoberfest). It was a fun event and well received in the community. As the official sponsor and organizer of the event, I was given a very large amount of beer from various donators and sponsors to use for the event. So much beer was donated, in fact, that it was just not possible for those participating in the event to consume all the beer in the given time frame. After the event was over, I was left with quite a large stock of beer remaining. I asked each donator if they had a preference on what to do with the remaining beer, and it was clear from the responses that it was donated for fun of the event and to be used at my discretion. Fast forward 4 months or so to today and here I am still with this large stock of beer. I don't want to just give the beer away in large doses to one player or to a few players that would likely just turn around and sell the beer stock. All that leads to today and the opening of Bar Torn City with the posting of this thread. With the remaining stock of beer from the event and my own beer purchases, I have an opening stock of 75,000 Bottle of Beer in inventory. I will be giving out FREE BEER upon request until there is no more beer in stock. I am bartender here, anytime I am online and active in the forums, the bar is OPEN and beer requests will be fulfilled as soon as I am able. Beer inventory will be tracked in the third post in thread. Alcohol item donations are certainly welcomed but there is plenty of beer in stock to run this bar for a long time. We should see quite a long adventure in fulfilling beer requests here and giving away beer as prizes for games here at Bar Torn City. Come for the free beer and stay for the games and bar talk. Enjoy your time at the bar while coming here to relax and blow off steam, meet people, talk to people, and get a Torn "buzz" on. That's what bars are for. Just enjoy it.

* IMPORTANT NOTICE * IMPORTANT NOTICE *

To the bar patrons here, this upcoming week I will be on vacation and my Torn forum fun and game time will be extremely limited. I will continue to send out of free beer upon request as supplies last. It is also important to note here that we are approaching the end of the beer stock here. It has been exactly 5 months now, at this time (July 20), since this Bar thread started back in February. We have gone through nearly 80,000 bottles of beer or more, and countless other types of bottles of alcohol here over that time. We have had a lot of random fun games here with beer prizes and a lot of fulfilled beer requests. I thank you all for playing along with my random games here and for the fun atmosphere that has come about. I have had nearly 2800 individual item sends during this 5 month time period (most of it being from the bar related activities here). It has been a fun ride, but I admit I am ready for a little break and will certainly use this vacation time to enjoy some break time. I will most likely give out the remaining beer stock this night or tomorrow morning and then begin my week vacation. To all you Bar Torn City players, please feel free to continue use of the thread for any of your fun bar ideas or continue your normal activities.  And I will certainly give some thought toward how to go forward with this Bar Torn City thread upon my return. In the meantime, post a reply with your comments on which bar games you liked the best or would like to see again. If you didn't get a chance to play in them all, or missed a bunch of them, you can check them out in the Old games (archive) with links to the game details posts within the thread.

^ Sending out around 80,000 bottles of beer, I went from about 2329 item sends back in mid-February to over 5100 item sends today and counting....
