With April 1st just being just under a month away. What do y'all think Ched has planned for this year for April fools this year?
Last year if you weren't around or just forgot Ched played a prank on the torn citizens by making our screens randomly spin around in a circle. Which resulted in a bunch of bug reports lol
If you were in Ched's position of power what kind of prank would you pull on the people of torn? :D
I'd turn every subscriber item into a parcel with a SED in it. That way if they open it they get hosped. After the 1st ends the items with turn into what they should be with the message: April fools!
Tired and can't think of anything off the top of my head as far as specifics go, but generally:
-Make something big and obvious occur. Something that people will assume, without a doubt "Oh, that's the prank."
-Then, make something smaller and more subtle occur. Something harmless, but extremely annoying. The kind of thing people would just assume to be a very bad bug.
If I were Ched I would alter the HTML of the forums so that the troll-blocking script doesn't work anymore, thereby subjecting my customers to untold amounts of brain damage.
Have a game competition with rankings for how much money you've lost in the casino for that day. I would love to see the stats on that and having some money leave the game doesn't hurt
Easter eggs will appear all over Torn. People's hearts will race and they will be surprised. It would be very funny. And when you click on it the egg can break and a notification will show "Happy April Fools Day".
