Recently i have see commonly used items have a huge launch in price. If we take a look at energy cans and E-dvds they have increased at a rate the average user cannot keep up with.

Dont get me wrong my networth is not bad but the daily cost for cans are a joke and unless your name is hildegarde most people cannot afford to keep up with these prices.

Now if you think of the people who can regularly use these mainly do it through gambling whether that be RR or variance betting on the bookie, for a crime game why is gambling the main source of money. If you suggest running flowers/plushies at max you will be able to afford maybe 2 cans a day.

Maybe its just me not liking the fact that to keep up i must be earning billions a month but let me just say people in sweetshops get 1 can every other day at 10* people using 12 cans a day demand is outstripping supply very fast even factoring in xmas town, supply is vanishing.

I know these items are suppose to be a sink but the rate its going only the elitists will be able to afford these items causing a separation from the top earning player to the regulars, just like the bodybagger vs the world situation.

What do you think? Maybe add another source for cans

The reason this game is good is because every price is player controlled, if every time something was too cheap or expensive and staff changed something to make it the same, how would that be fun?

i wonder if this is common 6 months after Christmas town every year? like, prices drop significantly for a while, now they are high, if you average it over a year, are they at a decent price?

Swing and round about's maybe? just like DPs, 25.8 up to 27mil, floats around.

I dunno, just trying to add constructive thoughts to the post...

Have you had a look at the graph, its at its highest position every minus the spikes in 3 years, if this isnt saying supply is dropping i dont know what is then

This is the kind of thread ive been waiting for!! Thanks op

regarding to the topic, its basically simple supply and demand. The only way to get cans is by jobs or city finds and also hallwn/christ town. So the supply isnt enough to keep up with the demand. Unlike xanax, you can get it at overseas all year round. Thats why its called booster.

Good call, i hadn't. no.

But like any item, if people pay that price, then sellers will keep it there, if you want to drive prices down, don't buy. (when i say this i'm not talking AT you by saying don't buy them)
Twisted_Metal [669724]

i dont use fhc is cause they are wildly overprice all the time, cost per e is far greater and unless you can afford to buy fhc all the time why waste money
HerrSchmidt [2069746]

If stuff gets too expensive, people stop buying, price goes down.

Obviously there are enough people with more cash than you that are willing to pay the price

The rate of use has increased exponentially, look at the supply, in 5 months since torn has used around 60,000 cans. This current usage in just another 5 months we will be around 90,000 cans in all of torn which hasnt been that low since 2016, by christmas this could be 80,000 or below
Twisted_Metal [669724]

let me guess you dont see this a problem cause you earn billions from gambling? no matter what price you can afford. maybe i dont want to play RR, poker all day to make that kind of money

It is called the law of "Supply and Demand".  Simple economics principle.  There few, if no, entitlements here in this game.  Get used to it.
