I'm going to be working on this and adding to it as I have time over the next few days. Rather than trying to re-create every great guide/tutorial out there, I'm going to break this into sections with links to some of the best guides for each topic. I will list a basic description of what you will find in the links below each one. If you have other guides that you feel need to be added, please let me know and I will edit this post to include them.

Most importantly, credit goes to all the original posters for each of these guides. I am merely trying to put them all in one place where you can easily find them at any time. *Hint* Bookmark this post!

New Player's Guide

The Guide for New Players
  • For brand new players, this has some basic information that introduces you to the game. Additionally, there is a table of leveling targets which is very useful for those trying to power to level 15 to travel.

Training

Gym Training Guide for Beginners
  • There are quite a few "Methods" available for training depending on how much you are willing to spend and also what works best for your current stats and level. The guide listed above details what you need to know about Energy, Happiness, Drugs, and some of the best training methods so you can get stat gains most efficiently.
Training Gains Explained
  • This is probably the best explanation of how "gains" work. There are some great tables/charts that show the benefits of happiness at low stats vs higher stats. This ties in with the first guide but just explains it in more detail.
Army Str/Def Gains (and more!)
  • This guide has detailed data on str/def gains using army points based on what other users' have provided. It also has some interesting information on the 2nd page regarding what companies are best for additional stat gains/day based on stat cap. If you're curious whether or not you should stay in Army or what kind of gains you'll get from working in various companies, this is the guide to check!

Nerve Bar

Nash's Guide to Nerve Bar
  • Self explanatory - I believe this is also in our faction forums already, but I wanted to have it here as well. This is by far one of the best guides to follow to effectively increase your Natural Nerve Bar as quickly as possible.

Chaining (2.0)

Chaining 2.0: A Guide to Respect
  • This guide details all the information you need to know about bonuses, the various multipliers, and how to ensure you are getting the *most* respect for every hit. This explains, in detail, why we want to ONLY Leave during war hits (with the exception of retaliations, which require a hospitalize.) I strongly recommend every player - new and old - to go over this as there is great information here.
Chaining Targets
  • This is a link to a database that allows you to search various parameters to find good respect targets for chaining. This website does pull players that are still currently active, so be sure to double check their rank/level/drugs used/etc. Thanks to Chit for sharing this!
Hank's Power Level Targets
  • This is just a link to several low stat players that are useful to hit for leveling and/or Chaining.
Baldr's Leveling Targets
  • Same as Hank's list, but more extensive and lower stat'd players (all are under 2k total stats).

Traveling

Torn Wiki - Travel
  • This lists the basics of traveling, which includes the time to get to each location depending on whether you have Standard, Airstrip, WLT, or BCT. It also details how many items you can carry and various ways to increase the total you can carry.
Managing Rehab Bills
  • A few great tips for reducing your rehab bills.
Travel Income Calculator
  • There is a link to a Google doc here. It's a handy tool to let you see what kind of income per minute/day/week for the items you are running.
Travel Run
  • I recommend using DoctorN if you're on a browser as the stock levels are updated much more frequently, but this is a great website to check stock levels in a pinch. You can get can get DoctorN here.

Basic Jobs (Non-Companies)

Job Interviews - Answers
  • Just in case you're not sure what the answers are for some of the job questions, they are all listed here. Additionally, the answers you have to give to obtain "The Affronted" award are also listed here.
Torn Wiki - Jobs
  • I've found this to be incredibly helpful to know what passives/perks you gain for each job as well as exactly how much work stats you will need for each rank. I recommend staying in an education job and using points to obtain the minimum stats you need for the max rank in the other jobs. Alternatively, join a company where a director will train you and/or you can pay for additional trains.

Companies

Torn Wiki - Companies
  • This is a great resource for trying to find out exactly what perks/passives are offered for each company as well as the cost to upgrade each company, the number of employees, the various positions, and general information on how to run a company.
Company Comparison Guide
  • This is a great guide to look over if you are looking to start or join a company. It lists the total number of each type of company currently in the game (last updated February 2018) and also some general information about what it would be like to run or be a part of that type of company.

Education

Dummy's Guide to Education
  • This guide breaks out each education module and details exactly how long the total courses will take, what work stats you will gain, and the passives/perks you will gain for completing all the courses. All of this can be viewed much quicker than clicking through all the courses manually and can help you determine which module you most want to work on first. It also details all the ways you can reduce your education time (passively up to 40%).

Stocks

Mat's Stock Guide
  • Honestly, this gives out a LOT of information about stocks in more detail than you probably needed to know. However, it does list all of the individual stock benefits as well as the total number of shares you will need for each one. It goes into further detail on payouts and which stocks are "useful" or not.
Bug's Stock Market BB Guide (Passive Income)
  • This guide gives some basic info for building your passive income up via stock blocks as well as a very handy live update that will give cost of stock, average weekly payout amount, and time it would take to "break even"

Merits

Tempest's Guide to Easy Merits
  • This is for those new players who are looking to get a jump start on merits. Most of these are fairly easily obtained and can be done so within the first month of playing. This helps get you a jump start on important merits (IE: Education Time Reduction).

Weapon Mods

Weapon mods guide
  • Great guide that explains the different weapon mods available.

Racing

Baldr's Racing FAQ
  • Great guide for those interested in getting into racing. Details the best cars to use and which upgrades to focus first as well as the entire process of advancing from Class E to Class A.

.

.

Again, I will be trying to add more as I have time - in the mean time, if you have any great guides you know of that would be useful to add, please let me know in the comments and I will edit/update. Please keep in mind that I don't want to fill each section with an over abundance of guides as to not overwhelm people. There's already a lot of information in each guide and having multiple guides that basically say the same thing isn't necessary.

Enforcer3 [2065010]

There already is a guide list, but this one is much better. It goes into detail about each guide (a quick summary) instead of just listing what category it is in. R+

I appreciate this. New players are often lost and could really use a good comprehensive, yet not overwhelming list like this.

For more in-depth company info you might also include:

Director Handbook

Employee Handbook

They can be near impossible to find unless you know to search for them.
