Dear team,
so basically I joined Torn when the android app launched. I mainly play on my phone and rarely on PC. Everything was fine and smooth until the recent DDOS attack on torn where after that they implemented some kind of security tool that checks our browser for up to 5 seconds whenever we try to login the game now. Notifications just stopped popping in my phone, I receive 0 notifications now and I have no idea why.
i tried uninstalling the game multiple times, i was in the beta group as well in the app store, so i signed out of that; didn't help. i tried backing up my phone and reinstalling my android software it self ( Android version 8.0.0) but that didn't work as well. i tried playing around with the notifications options in the torn app trying to make different sounds and setting, but nothing ever pinged.
now im not saying that the extra security measure is the cause of all of this, i honestly have no clue, this is when i just started noticing my phone never pinged from torn anymore.maybe it took me a while to notice, but what im sure of is i receive 0 notifications if i fly, get attacked, finished books/educational courses/ drugs cd/ med cd, nothing basically. 0 notifications.
im really just running out of ideas, and that really took a bad toll on my activity in game. i have a ton of things to track through out the day, it gets really challenging for me sometimes to remember to login in all of these activities on the right time to effectively play. and i dont know where to post this tbh or who to talk to, i would really love some advise.
