Life regeneration can be sped up with donator status, also with high valued properties like a Castle or a Private Island with a Medical Facility.

You're correct. Donator status speeds up energy regen, not donator status

I forgot to mention in my first reply that life regen is a percentage of your max life, meaning that while you increase your maximum life you also increase amount of life regen per tick.

Ways to increase max life also include Faction perks and Mining company specials
