Egg cooldown?

Is there a cooldown period after you find an egg or is it always random?

I usually find a couple on a morning when I put the chickens' feed out.

I find that I will find eggs every few days because Ched hates me :( but sometimes I can find eggs back to back.. or days in between lol. Or maybe I just don’t notice them <.<

It may depend on the number of clicks instead of hours before we see the next egg. Now if only we had people counting the number of torn links they've visited to find the next egg...

It's pretty much entirely random. I've found 2 eggs in the space of an hour barely doing anything and have found 2 more spread hours apart

yesterday i got 2 eggs in events page only 10mins
and today got 1 egg in Forums page spend me 10+hours

i think it always random

Glad you like it, I've seen your posts in another thread. Keep up the good work. And to the point of this thread, I think completely random; as others have said, I'll find a couple in a row, then none for a while - just clicking around seems to work, as of now I have found 5.

While we don't know the specifics behind egg spawns, I can say from my personal experience that it seems quite random. I got 22nd overall last year simply by playing Torn as I normally would and collecting eggs as I went along.

I have tried refreshing the same page 25 times. Searching the city map. Looking at people's profiles. I looked at every link in the city map, and every product page. I have looked in all the guide pages. I have only found one egg and it was a pink egg on my very own profile/stats page. So guessing it is very random and not even tied to how much activity you do or don't do?

To be blunt and jaded about it, RNG is a fickle mistress, and not everyone will experience the same spawn rates. You can spend hours clicking pages and scour each one with a fine toothed comb, but if you don't get lucky you simply won't get enough egg spawns to have a chance to win the competition. Essentially, if you don't have a half dozen eggs collected by now, you've already lost, so just play the game as normal and pick up the eggs as you stumble across them.

Guess its random, doesnt depends on activity - Yesterday I found 2 in 3 hours and today I found literally 0 playing about 5-7 hours actively... Its sad but idk :) maybe they will start spawning later or something.. but 0 eggs whole day long is sick
