This was a legal shooting... Cops already fired without a complete investigation. Chief of police resigns. And the idiots start burning shit down. Get ready for round two of this bullshit.
This guy fought with the cops, stole a weapon and ran away.

He falls asleep in his car in a wendy;s drive thru so they called the cops , some reports allud to him being drunk , guess what they burn't the wendy;s down.
Problem is he had a taser which he already stole and pointed at an officer, why do these guys resist arrest if he had shot the taser and hit the cop he could of then stole his gun
I saw the footage of him running he turned and pointed it at the cop , instinct , reaction to training someone points something at you you fire in a split second.
I assume the guy had out standing warrants or on parole who the f**k fights cops over a DUI .

I still don't get how someone sleeping in a car ends up in a shooting.

The cop could've kept distance and called back up. This is the issue with police state, in life or death situations. Everyone wants to defend a cops life instead of the criminal; when no one's actions prior to shooting; justifies shooting.
Don't wanna fight criminals, shouldn't be a cop. Can't be a coward and gun people down because they're scared of being tased.

Mistaken identity. One time taser pulled on me; one time held gunpoint by 4 cops over a gas station robbery. Thought I was about to die.

You act like the USA is the only country that has police killings in Mexico they kill thousands a year mostly women
If you have gave me Brasil i would had take it (although i don't think people get killed there for being drunk asleep in their car), but in Mexico not really... You should check your numbers, Mexico actually has a lot less police killings than the US both in number and per 10M people.
But when you look at the civilized world (so excluding South America, Africa and the middle east) you get USA with around 46 per 10M people and the runner up is Canada with around 9 and France with around 4 per 10M people, so quite a difference...

This story is different than George Floyd. from what I understand is that he did resist the arrest and stole a pistol from the cop and was trying to escape. In that case the police has to shoot.

Didn't see that second video before... Nice they actually shot an unarmed dude on the back three times then... Since he had already discharged his taser and missed the cop.

The firing of the cop, the resignation of the chief and subsequent burning of the Wendy's is the problem. Being so intoxicated you pass out in a drive thru (happens fairly often), and then fighting with arresting officers who are clearly doing their job is the problem.
If the fella was gonna do all that, what next a car jacking, as he is unlawfully fleeing arrest?
