why is it that every day I get further down in the queue to sell my stock I started at 137th in line to sell, now I am at 146th. How is this possible?

Well to follow up to that. And this may be me overlooking something obvious. How do you see where you are in queue?
Your queue position is displayed next to the listed shares, when you have one.
so splitting all shares and then selling is better?

Cause the queue will only take one block you put up per stock type at a time
so if you split one stock and try to sell at same time, the queue will only take the first one, then once it sells then the second one will go into the queue, and so on

oh, so the longer my stock is in the market the higher chance it has t be sold?
No, not directly. But let's say you have 1b shares to sell for example. If you put them all up at once, you'll get assigned a place in the queue for the whole 1b amount. Sure, people who sell less than that will take priority in the queue but your whole block is still being queued and will most likely sell within a couple of days.
Now if you would split that into 10x 100m blocks and would put them up for sale; then only one 100m block would actually be in the queue. Rest of the 900m would not be queued at all. Selling that first 100m block could take for example one day. Only after that is sold, your next 100m block would be assigned to the queue. Again it probably takes day or two to sell. Again only after that is sold, your next 100m block would be assigned to the queue. And so on. In the end you will definitely end up waiting longer if you sell them in smaller blocks, since each of the small blocks would be queued separately and you will need to wait for it to sell before the next one even goes to the queue.

i see, so my best bet is to put it all up and wait, removing it from market decreases my chances of selling. gotcha. thanks
