TS100

The TS100 is an exclusive racing tournament for the top 100 racers by racing skill.
If you are invited, it is the Top Skill 100. If you are not invited, it is the Tough Shit 100.
There are no qualifier events, no fees, no sign ups, no stewards, no groups or classes, no eliminations, and no noobs.

When
TS100 will be August 8, 2022 through August 18, 2022. Races run near Midnight TCT, from Monday to Thursday for two weeks.

Who
All top 100 racers as listed by skill in TornStats.com are personally invited. If someone is bumped off that list during the tournament, they lose their seat.
Some of the top 100 racers are deceased or inactive. They earned their seat, and it is non-transferrable.

Format
One passworded race per day, eight representative tracks, no car restrictions, 20 lap races with nearly all-day join times. Private invites will be sent with race password when each race is created.

Placing
Cumulative placing from each race will determine the end ranking. Ties will be broken with cumulative track time.
Wrecks earn last place, with a ghost time of last finisher plus 30 seconds.
Any absentee earns last place plus 1, and track time of last finisher plus 60 seconds.

Prizes
Glory and honor and a sig banner. Top 10 places get their place below name.

All races run at the end of the day, at 23:45 TCT. Signups will be available from after previous race ends until race time, almost a day. Monday event signups will open at Midnight Monday.

To clarify, I'm sending PW's to the top 100 by skill at the same time that I begin the next race, which is either midnight or after the previous race has completed. It's a dynamic game.

In placings, I am hoping that RNG scatters values to avoid breaking cumulative place ties with cumulative time except where it is necessary. The decimal place in seconds throws off my spreadsheet, so I do it with a separate time calculator. For results as of race 2, I only calculated the top 4 cumulative place ties and ignored the rest.
