Just turn off your chat if it's really bothering you, look for this setting at the bottom of the setting tab.

Perhaps he is recruiting so hard he forgot he sent you a message and made an honest mistake in sending it twice? Life's a lot nicer if you give people the benefit of the doubt.
He didn't get asshurt, he just responded (quite appropriately in my opinion) to a rude message. Getting asshurt would look more like this.

Yeah, when people message you it’s only a single interaction for them, but you’ve had numerous ones. Not being in a company is terrible since you get spammed, but it doesn’t warrant a thread.
Please know that mining corps are great companies. They are great for Crimes 2.0, Defense training and warring.
