Over our war career we've received points that have been put into our faction point bank. We've never been able to remove these due to not opening the point bank. We've just unlocked it today and all our points that we received from our wars in the beginning have disappeared. Just wondering if this was normal for factions that hadn't opened their points bank? Thank you

If you want to keep points in the faction, you need a points vault. If you had points in the vault that you didn't own - that was an issue which has been corrected.
Whether this was fixed then or being retroactively fixed every time somebody unlocks the vault - same outcome...

Any Points that were obtained before you had a Points Vault were removed as mentioned by Ched in the report linked above.
