Every single day at work. Know most of it backwards, forwards, and update down. Write macros, functions, custom add-ons . All that nonsense.

Just a tip, ask ChatGPT for creating formulas if you can't get it figured out by yourself. Much faster than searching on Google.

Install Microsoft copilot, it will help you do formulas on Excel.
Libreoffice and csv almost everyday
No excel = No SQL = No database = No data = No application.
Just referencing that Excel from M365 or any other name from another company, is an application on which many aspect of operation depends on and It has so much flexibility.
From experience I can safely say, take the 'Excel application' aways will break the world.
It used to be the complete opposite. Kinda what made excel what is today. I massively depend on it now. Be costs or project progress etc. teams 1st then Excel the outlook. Oh and a brave browser that is my day
