Rule clarification

So I was looking through the stock benefit blocks and I keep thinking about the 2 ad ones, free classified and free banner advertisment or whatever... And I am (vaguely) aware that there is a rule against paying for people to bump your posts or to post on your behalf in chat and such but does that rule extend to me trying to sell my free spaces from those stat blocks?

And second question that I think I already know the answer to, but if you DONT interact with an alt account at all, could you have one? I started this account however long ago, but left pretty soon after... And now I'm back, was auto reconnected to my account accidently (Google sign in... Still not sure how to feel bout it lol) and Ive mostly rolled with it but there are some things I wish I had the chance to do differently (oooh surprise surprise). But I assume it's mostly a solid "No, never" with alts or such since it's still multi accounts 

Not sure about the answer to ur first question, but the answer to your second question is, as you guessed, a flat out no. There's the option to restart by deleting your existing account and making a new one after the cooldown period thus only having one account, but in reality progress is progress and starting from scratch is kind of wasteful when there isn't even a way to win the game.

1. i don't think it would be against the rules, but i don't think anyone would legitimately be interested in "buying" that because it would involve trusting the person to not just take the money and fuck off.
2. you're only allowed to own one account at any given time. if you have another account you accidentally logged into you need to delete it properly or you will very likely see fed.

Unless you've accidentally somehow become a pariah, there's absolutely no benefit to restarting.  Ever.

Nearly every action you've completed, no matter how small, moves you toward another merit point.  Restarting resets that progress, and.... unless you're doing it to remove the heat on yourself because you did something heinous, it's not worth it.

But there is an official method for doing so.

For context, I'm not gonna restart (made too much progress at this point), but I have considered it purely to get the piggy bank item 😅 i would love to collect every item in torn but that may be the only impossibility without restart since it can't be traded if I remember correctly. 

As for the alt, that idea was mostly just to try 2 play styles at once, trader and merc. But again, not something I'm actually going to do (would really suck to lose my progress here 😅 I am NOT good about restarting progress) 

If staff feels it appropriate, I'm okay with this being closed or graved... Or left as is, dealers choice. (Altho staff direct input about the banner / personal ad selling would be appreciated 👍, still not totally clear on rules perspective there)
