RD_ [1530413]It seems a lot of players talk about being here for so long, if we all been here this much time why would only a few months of changes change your opinion on staying or going? I remember Halloween Town and Christmas Town being a lot of fun followed by Easter egg hunt, zombie apocalypse and world war (hope those aren't delayed). New missions are not out yet but the look from racing I expect them to be cool. I have been beating my way up the ladder not seeing much I thought was that awesome but I still played, now there are huge updates were no longer interested? I have saw a reduction in attacking but it can't be because everyone is pissed at the updates?

Bullzeye [922212]3 things throughout my time in torn that I have enjoyed the most, and always came back to torn for (have quit several time) is a active faction - lately alot of factions have become silent, not hearing much from anyone, Mugging sprees - Not mugged in some time but that just personal cant be arsed right now, and warring - right now there isnt any big wars at all and HOF isnt doing much (apart from the Fun of warring, there no real reason to right now anyway) So hopefully something getsd changed or the numbers of TC will just forever keep going down

FFVIII [1562513]The only thing I would change about torn now is the having to click 3 times to use an item and when in war I want to be able to see all my opponents i.e. A full list view again not just there factions then having to click again to open up a very short drop down menu

Why would you encourage players not to continue to play? We need more players not fewer. With each passing new release there will be new things to do. I suggest you wait until the new train attacks are released this will set the game on fire.

Should have listened ched , apps are where the money's at , not outdated text games.
Virtually all my friends from when I started have quit or play like me, well if you can call logging in once a week playing lol.
I won't be here much longer, far to many interesting and new games that come out that are 100's times better than this .
I wouldn't hold your breath about tons of new players joining from advertising either.

Anyway have fun, if you still can playing this. I'll be back in a while to drop a couple of DB's before I go for good. Expect your friends to leave , they will :P

I disagree. Text based games have lots of advantages. For me, I work a lot from home (Online)and its great to just pop over when I get a few free mins to have some fun. I'd say there are many other situations where text based games would be the preferred gaming choice for lots of people.
People with low bandwidth/don't like 3D games/like meeting new people and socializing etc...
Tbh many of the people that are leaving are older players moving on with their lives. We need to find a way to keep the younger players interested and people that join to feel like the want to stay.


i agree, torn can be played on a phone at minimum

all the respo updates can be found on the announcements forums, it was always going to be a game engine update...... and regardless of what ppl think, there are always going to be 'nerfs' needed to balance the game.

Most of the ppl that have left were leaving anyway and respo isnt finished yet.... the biggy is the combat update and we are waiting for it...

dunmugmeh [538353]text browser games arent for everybody. there are only so many people in the world who are going to want to play a text browser game and some of them may get bored and quit after playing it for a while.

the game needs to be marketed better. i have been playing games for 30 years and this game reminds me of some of the games i used to play as a kid on my old computers. a lot of people my age would like this game ched needs to find a way to attract their attention a lot of people wont even know this game exists.

a lot of people my age have a lot of spare money for gaming and ched should find a way of getting our attention.

NitroDex [918327]I am waiting for the promised torn 2.0 Upgrades. After that , there are still many things that could be improved like new stuff to do abroad , hunting , education , etc.

The truth is that torn has always changed and will continue to do so , only then it can become progressively better.

Due to lack of ads we have lost players , but players come and go , the coming has gone down
