Graphics has been really dead lately so figured I would post here to get some comments on some experimental works. Why is this belong in F&G? BECAUSE I AM MAKING A GAME OUT OF IT!!!
So here is how it goes... Simply post about the art on display (good, bad, etc). All and any comment helps if it is sincere. It is that simple. I will select a random post to give away cash prizes/items to. Graphics giveaways will be random for those who are interested in the particular graphic. PLEASE NOTE ALL OF THIS ART IS ORIGINAL. I will also be doing sketches/etc if people find the art giveaways entertaining. If not I will stop doing them and stick to the item giveaways. [image: i.imgur.com] [image: i.imgur.com]
Script inspired me to make some graphics so free customs. Could do 100. Might only do one. Regardless at least one free graphic will be made. You can make multiple request but only one request per post or the theme/request will be completely ignored.
Also these graphics will be considered done as per my vision. If you want edits feel free to ask but just know I reserve the right to decline the edits in any event. Have a problem with it, get over it... It's free.
Some will love my work, some will hate it. Bottom line, I don't care.
For the absolute last time, I will be retiring. I am going to be fully leaving this game in about two weeks.
It's been a good run and a lot of high and lows. I leaned a lot here but I just want to focus on life and finally get past "being held back by torn". That isn't to say I won't check in on occasion but my presence in the forum will be strictly that of a ghost lurking.
Thanks for all the memories and God bless.

If I find some of my older works I will share them. Most of them were on Photobucket so a lot of my stuff is gone, although I do have every .psd I have ever made (minus a couple)
It is certainly the hardest to get use to because you are so focused on composition. Im in the US but I can show you some tricks if you wanted to screen share and watch me show you some of my tricks.
Its usually little things/layering strategies that took me years to develop but make a host of difference.
I can upload the .psd if anyone would like it for LRO. My .psds are always messy but might help someone lol. Also no expert but just enjoy the hobby. Been doing it for 10+ years as such.
Good composition, my recommendation is with a little bit of soft brushing you can make your lighting and atmosphere take off just a little bit more. I hope you don't mind but I did some softbrushing on your original work just so I could show you what I meant.
1) Added orange lighting so the background effects glow onto the render making it feel more incorporated/natural.
2) Darkened the center of the render (black soft brush, smudging to dull the edges to make it feel more natural) to reflect lighting and set to burn, lowered opacity until it looked more natural
3) soft brushing around the edges to make the render stand out as the focal point of the tag a bit more. Various opacities any layering. Finally Lowered opacity until it looked natural without loosing too many of the details on the edges.
Sorry if you don't like people editing your work and should have asked for permission first but purely did for educational purposes and am no way claiming the work as my own. Hope it helps =)
Currently placing a hold on orders until I finish up my customs requests and planned competition entries.
This thread will be going through some revision in the coming week or weeks as well as I plan to make it a milestone and networth goal thread in which I generate my goal of 10B in graphics orders alone.
Understandable. Was just voicing my opinion that gimp isn't the worst thing in the world. At the end of the day whatever works for any individual is a valid option.
Its also not bad. Not as many tutorials but the functionality is the same, just got stuff in slightly different places. It is where my gfx career started and some of my best pieces were made on GIMP.
I actually prefer their pentool which was what I made my best stuff with and got known for.
