So I've been Skyping and snap chatting with Champion for the last five or so few weeks. He seemed to be such a gentleman in private chats and text messages that I eventually caved in and gave him my number. Turns out we live a few miles away from each other so we decided to meet-up IRL for a little Valentines day get together because we hit it off pretty well. This was a terrible mistake and one I will absolutely never forget. Anyway, so I cleared my schedule about a week early and found a baby-sitter for my daughter and planned to meet-up at a local pizza place / pub.
So I'm waiting in the lobby of the pizza place, and in walks Champion. He's an average guy, nothing really fishy or out of places. I wave to him and he walks over and I shit you not, the first thing he says to me is, "Nice to meet you Lisa, I'm the leader of the real Subversive Alliance." It took fiber of my being to keep from laughing. So we sit down, look at the menu and he orders a deep dish pizza. Ordering for a date isn't really that cool but I didn't think much of it, and I like sausage. So we start talking a bit and I noticed something odd, every time I asked him a personal question he would always deflect and talk about Torn, specifically about Subversive Alliance. It was cute at first but he wasn't kidding. He ordered some weird drink, specifically brandy, lemon juice, and triple sec. He then looked at me expectantly so I asked him about the drink and told me that he called it "The Midknight shot", and drank it because it reminded it of the fake SA's tears.
Eventually our pizza came and he looked at me and says "What did you order"?...well I didn't order anything because I thought we were sharing the deep dish....So he calls the waiter over, where at this point I'm extremely embarrassed, and I order another slice of pizza while he eats the whole deep dish thing himself, meanwhile he's berating the shit out of the waiter and talking about terrible customer service and about how he's going to leave a bad yelp review. I was so embarrassed. After he ate his pizza, he said he was going to the bathroom and he didn't come back.
He just left and stuck me with the bill! I was so pissed. He blocked my cell number, and on social media. So I messaged him on Torn and he said, "Sorry, your fatter in person" and put me on ignore list. I hate you Champion, thanks for ruining my life.
