Now that we can inflate these lists indefinitely (at the cost of points), it would be nice to have search bars for friends and enemies lists before they become unmanageable. This way, we could easily search people in there, by name or description.
It doesn't have to be some earth-shattering feature, just a little something to make our lives easier.
EDIT: What I have in mind is something just like the mailbox. The code from there could be reused, if needed... [image: i.imgur.com]
SECOND EDIT: According to the data displayed on the friends/enemies lists, the final product could look like this (sorry folks, I'm not the best graphics artist out there)... [image: i.imgur.com] FROM PIXIE: A way to sort the list in ascending and descending order, be it by name, faction, faction, description, status, etc. would be a great complement to the search bar, too.
UPDATE: We've reached 100 R+, now awaiting feedback... Thanks for the support, folks! []
Some months are just busier than others, so here I am again, with a 2-for-1...
I noticed a slight increase in my nerve bar, looked at my logs, and saw this:
12:20:22 - 22/09/23 Your maximum nerve increased from 141 to 146
So, 105 nnb + 40 from faction + 1 from merit.
I just read in the newspaper that Boxcar182 also has a 105 NNB. So I can't and won't claim being the first at it. In case there are any doubters, I hereby authorize Bogie and the admins to check my nerve logs/data and validate my claim...
Also, this marks my 7th no-fail PA anniversary. When JUXers say stuff like "you won't fail your next PA if you're in Team David", that's why. Crossing my fingers for 3 more years for a full decade, but with Crimes 2.0 in motion, it may be nothing more than a dream...
Finally, I have to properly credit JUX's OC managers, namely PrincessJulie, for this double achievement. Managing 24 PA teams every week is no small feat, so they mean business!
To have a somewhat clearer picture, here's a list of 124 of the "204" people on Duke's list. I'm confident I didn't add someone by mistake, and if Duke wants to vet this list, I've got no problem with it.
I'm perfectly aware this list isn't complete. 80 names are missing, I won't deny it. That's because some people might have dodged it, either by travelling or by self-hosping with SED or other means, while I was compiling and double-checking the data.
And frankly, I prefer let a culprit walk free than risk accusing an innocent wrongly!
Staff names are coloured, and committee members are in bold. With only 2 names, it's doesn't look like a 'widespread staff/committee abuse' conspiracy... which is somehow relieving.
Today, a beggar popped into into my chat. I decided to try something new, the Parrot Tactic, by copying and pasting back everything he said, down to the typos.
Frankly, if you squarely asked "how faction thieves operate", it can be construed as "how to scam a faction". Scamming is a deeply toxic behaviour. And if I saw that (because I no longer roam the forums like I used to), I would have been very tempted to join the lynching mob.
In a nutshell, if you bring toxicity, expect (what you describe as) "toxicity" to hit you back a thousandfold. 🤷♂️
Back in the days, my average bust count (when I pushed it into overdrive) was about 80-100 per day, 200 wasn't rare, and my best ever was 432 in 24 hours (I was lucky the planets aligned perfectly that day).
You can guess the nerf hit me hard, but I adjusted my pace once I understood the new mechanics. 😊
Ok, technically it's 85,013 busts in 7,518 days. I just chose to round the numbers.
That's a 11.3 busts per day average, including sprees and slacking. I don't know if anyone has similar daily numbers.
From here, getting to 90k before year end would mean 18.5 busts per day, and let me tell, this is a tall order. Especially if we factor in: faction chains, Elimination, Torn Tenacity Trials, days off, and so forth. I don't plan to use my books before 2027.
But no matter when I reach 90k, my ultimate goal remains getting to 100k first. 🙂
