See the explanation of "Attacking 2.0"
Defence will reduce damage by 50% if it matches your opponents strength. It will reduce damage by further 10% increments for every doubling of the other users strength.
Imaging, initially, A have 1M str, and B have 100M def, A cannot make any damage to B.
Then, A keep training str, and B keep training def, and after 1 year,
now, A have 501M str at least, and B have 600M def.
(Assume they are active around same level, and ignore the influence of the CAP)
What will happen? A can beat B easily.
See, the two guys work hard on their training in the same way,
but the output after a year is totally different!
Defence is just junk now. We don't need to train def at all.
My def is over 1B, but it means nothing now.
Fortunately, my other st. is not so weak.
Now, I spend all my energy on training str,
and will not use even 1 energy for def any more, if the system don't change.
Think it, in current attacking system,
you have a chance to beat a 30B DEF guy, even if you only have 1B STR,
while you will be beaten by a 40M STR guy, with your poor 1B DEF.
As I know, there are no more than 10 players who have over 30B DEF.
So, with 1B STR, you have got the chance to beat almost all players.
If you waste your time to get 1B DEF, sorry, you are still a weak fighter.
To train DEF? or to train STR?
Which one will you select?
The answer is very clear!
Now, the value to train the 4 battle st. become like this:
STR > SPD = DEX >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DEF = 0
Just forget defense, it is nothing now.
Training defense = Waste your energy.
The suggestion:
If current defense effect is considered as fair,
then, change all st. to be log form.
DEX: if equal to opponent's SPD, opponent will be 50% miss. Every doubling will increase 10% miss of opponent.
SPD: if equal to opponent's DEX, having 50% chance landing damage. Every doubling will increase 10% landing chance.
STR: if equal to opponent's DEX, do 50% damage on opponent. Every doubling will increase 10% damage to opponent.
If each st. act in same log form, it is fair.
GMs, I know you want to nerf those guys who have too much def, such as, more than 100B def,
which make them almost invincible in the old attacking system.
But, don't nerf other poor guys, who train def mainly, but don't have so shocking value of def.
Current attacking system just make most of the players' defence be junk,
but those guys, who have more than 100B def, is still almost invincible.
Why not nerf defence after it is over 100B?
For example, def under 100B will work linearly, after that, it will be nerfed sharply.
10,000B, 100 times of 100B only works 2 times 100B,
and 1,000,000B, 10,000 times of 100B only works 3 times 100B. (too many zero........)
It will be more reasonable.
BTW, not only defence, but also other 3 battle st. should be nerfed sharply after 100B or other such shocking value.
