I currently run one of the steady 10* Farms and competition is quite narrow with them (a loss of ~200k profit for the entire week can easily take you down to 9*).
I was talking to the brilliant brooksey84 about a recent issue with my company where an employee left by surprise while I was gone for the holiday weekend on July 4 and we ended up stuck at 9* for a week since the person who left had a Retailer role which heavily affects sales and thus profit.
If I had someone in the company who could have just swapped two employee roles I could have avoided spending a week at 9*, but since I wasn't able to get on we had to wait a week to regain 10*.
My suggestion is that companies be allowed to assign a Chief Operations Officer (independent of their actual job within the company) that acts as a co-director and has limited editable permissions similar to the faction control panel. These would be the ability to change employee roles, adjust pay, train employees, open and close applications, and hire/fire.
Do you love the smell of manure? If not, are you at least willing to tolerate it in order to swap 1 job point for 7 energy? Me too! Come join a 10* Farm!

When you get mugged, all the money remaining on your person is now "mug-safe" for a certain amount of time. After an hour, you can be mugged again for a small percentage. After about 6 hours you can be mugged again for around 75% of the original mug. As time passes, the money you still have on you becomes vulnerable to mugging again.
If you have been mugged and now have 100m on you as you come out of hosp, that 100m is temporarily safe. If you now make a sale for 200m, that 200m is vulnerable to mugging (even though you are now carrying 300m). Any time you add "new money", as it were, to your cash on hand, that money is muggable.
Ched is absolutely awful as a community manager and needs someone in that seat that isn't him. Every time he makes a decision or takes a public stance it goes to pieces.

That said, soon as PP gets elim'd and I can get out of hosp I'm off Torn for good, a game where the admin will repeatedly change or break game rules by using mid-game scoring changes, invincible NPCs, and otherwise illegal attacking scripts "because you deserve it hurr hurr" for non-gamebreaking behavior is not a game worth playing.
The gender swap might have been a dirty trick but it was not a bug or exploit, just the result of an administrative oversight that Ched himself even acknowledged before everyone started salting the forums and it suddenly became "a problem". If you think punishing 200 active players for what was basically a harmless prank is a good idea you are too biased.

As one of the genderbending 204 I now retire from Torn City a champion (but not THE champion, as that is reserved for God Emperor Champion alone). Once you've defeated the admin themselves there's nothing left to accomplish in an online game. Gave away all my stuff already so no you can't have anything.
But seriously, the level of admin interference and dramaposting was pretty ****in cringe and unprofessional, so screw that noise I'm out.

Yeah, a bug or exploit is an unintended vulnerability in the site or network. Using a known feature to swap genders to get on an all-female team is neither. It might have been unanticipated, but it's still not a bug.
