As a result I figure it is time to have a little giveaway. I think the easiest way to run this will be for players to post an entry in this thread.

Doing so will result in them being placed in a numerical order based on posting, then on October 24th I will use Random.org to choose winners for the following prizes:

Let me just start with the obvious.



A game about crimes should allow for hits to be made while in jail.



Perhaps a new weapon...the shiv...that is a weapon that becomea auto equipped when you are in jail and if you hosp someone in a jail fight they go to the jail hosp where it takes twice as long to get out.



So instead of a 5 hour hosp in the outside world you can instead deal out a 10 hour stay.


I imagine 1 person initiating attack. Just like attacking is now....just with fewer options...kick, punch, shiv....no escape button though.


Jail has its own hospital but med items are 50% less effective.

You can be revived but reviver needs to be in jail first, and a revive/self heal in jail hosp does not release you from jail....sentence still stands timewise

So this is not great for anyone who goes away for work:
1) Military
2) people who work in oil fields etc
3) vacationing for a couple weeks at a time

Now they all have to make certain they sign in daily or else the stock payout will not reset.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I was just looking into some numbers

(now I do have the Banking benefit block adding 10% to my banking interest)

but Torn City Times currently is paying 1 million per month for the lowest level of the benefit block (which costs 21 million to buy)
That is a 5% interest on investment

In banking for 1 month I can get 71.33 APR (equal to 4.589% interest)


So for me there is a pros and cons to doing this.

When money is in bank I am guaranteed to get back what I put in plus the interest - pro
When in bank I do not get money until the end of the month, both interest earned and initial investment - con

When money is in stocks I do not get payout until after money has been there for 30 days, con
When money is in stocks and you draw money out before 31 days is up you get no interest , Con
When money is in stocks I may not get my initial investment back as the stock price can drop - Con
When money is in stocks you may increase in stock share price and make more than just the 1 million per month - Pro



But when looking into the second increment of investment in the stock block looks like this:
another 200,000 shares at a cost of 42 million to earn an additional 1 million per month.

So increment 1 earns 5% per month in interest (and the volatility of the market, but the flexibility of withdrawing money quickly)
and Increment 2 earns 2.5% per month (and the volatility of the market, but the flexibility of withdrawing money quickly)

For me, I would rather the bank interest on the 2nd increment as I would rather make an additional 2%+ on my money.

looking at another dividend stock

Grain
4 million in payouts every 31 days for a buy in of 107 million.
4% interest.
Right off the bat that is worse return than the bank can provide.
2nd increment would pay only 2% interest.


Lets look at 1 more
TSB
50 million payout once per month on an initial investment of 2.334 billion
2% return.

Bank is way better in this instance,

another way to represent that is to spend 2.35 billion over 2 accounts to make 28 million a week
or
3.53 billion over 1 account to make 28 million per week (assuming that value of FHC remains constant.)

It will only take you 1715 days to earn back your money from payouts on the benefit block based on current prices.
