As I looked around some old files, I came across some fun Torn related files, including archives of the #ScammerHunt threads. We had a lot of fun tormenting scammers in those days and we had the support of our community, staff, and even some scammers! We held attack, mug and other harassing contests, we went after scammer owned companies and we even zero'd some scammer factions. We had participants from every major faction and the most advanced of battle stat holding players. The wealthiest Torn residents and the poorest were a part of the greatest ScammerHunt in history!
I found it interesting how many players on the list are active. The first that I'll share was updated August 4th, 2009. I will then add a reply with a later version with more information regarding the fun that we had.

If you use IRC, proceed to channel #scammerhunt You will find a user friendly bot that will give you the link to a scammer at or below your level. You can view their profile and decide to attack them or ask the bot for a new one. The bot will track your progress and make you eligible for daily and weekly prizes. You will need to register your ID with the bot, but it is simple and others in the room can help you do that.
**In addition, random prizes will be given away just for being in the room**
[image: i205.photobucket.com]
Please review the scammers listed above. Here you will find a link to the scammer's profile and you may pick your target(s).
Please post your hospitalization report and the Attack Log Link in this thread to become eligible for our weekly and random prizes.
We will have daily, weekly and random prizes to give away in both the IRC and Forum version of the game.
Bumping this thread and participating in the forum and IRC versions of this game make you eligible for the Random Prizes.
Feel free to play in both, its just more work for you.
