An active, versatile crew who eoriented playstyle to achieve any & all objectives.
A diverse faction with an international membership.
[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]2. What We're About:
Training members to a high standard of knowledge, resourcefulness and conduct.
Taking lessons from every victory & defeat and applying them toward our core objectives.
Extreme Ownership.
[/background] 3. How It's Done:
Technology: Discord Voice Chats, 3rd Party Browser Extensions & Well formulated Excel spreadsheets.
Training: Focused mentorship from experienced players, succinct guides written by highly educated personnel & a total commitment to application of theory once learned.
Total Commitment: A 'Never Say Die' attitude, objective oriented perspective & a focus on professionalism.
Our core values can be summed up as 'Taste, Drive & Ruthlessness'. Our theme is clearly paramilitary with a ranking structure & standard operating procedures to reflect that. Our primary objective is train members to a high standard & to have them understand that battle stats are not the only factor in a conflict.
The above can make us seem like we're an extreme and unfriendly bunch. But nothing could be further from the truth. There's much goodwill and fraternity among members as a result of our voice chats. We hold people (leadership included) accountable for mistakes, but no one here lords such mistakes over them. We are all constantly learning, evolving and developing. All things can be a learning experience and patience is a virtue we value here at RGR. Come and see what we have to offer. It's more than just perks, drugs & boosters. We are capable of helping you learn to navigate any situation here on TC.
Below, aside from bumps, are some member testimonials germane to that fact.
Preferably balanced build (will make exceptions). Chaining experience requested, but not necessary. Active players who are not shy about team-based tactics only!
We war, we fly, we do events and all that. Most of all: we communicate with each other. If you meet the above requirements, come and enjoy our perks earned through our 1.1 mil respect rating! Earn money through flying or train while others do the elimination competition! Or do all three in here! Come and see what we're about!
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
I've played way more pointless games and seen way pettier moves.
Some people don't come here to relax. They might be trying theories in an otherwise consequence free environment. Or they're just highstrung and "on" all the time.
We do intend to remove the button entirely, but this needs to be done as a phased process, which is why the button remains but it's now a redirect.
It also represented an inconsistency: why would we allow weapons and armour to be sold directly through the inventory but not other items? And why allow items to be sold directly through the inventory when this process is meant to be done at the specific shops?
Speaking for myself: Very happy at the approach being phased. Very happy at how willing you are to engage with the playerbase.
Not liking the rationale for what an 'inconsistencey' is. Always thought the ability to sell direct from the inventory was a nice quality of life feature.
Why add more clicks? Idk what the code demands to keep it around/expand it, but I find myself browsing my inventory alot more than multiple shops in the city. If it doesnt take alot to keep around, why not just keep the feature?
Just my two cents. Very excited for the vast majority of updates.
I'll throw mine in: Not well known/important enough for hate mail (anon or otherwise).
But I did do a stint in a faction with lots of intrigue/drama.
At its end, I lost out, got outmaneuvered. But I didnt steal from anybody, I never lied and stand behind my decisions.
Lots of character assassination on every end, as you can imagine.
So when I left in a huff, I was surprised to get this event.
You were sent $1 from someone with the message: I am sorry henry. I still feel guilty. Whip that faction you joined up into shape and be the Dave Mustaine of [REDACTED].
I have no idea who Dave Mustaine is or why he should be emulated. But its nice to know I'm the one with the clear conscience.
Worked in plasma for 5 years. Saw good, bad and ugly.
EU imports a ton of US plasma for its uses because the US simply produces more.
China produces a lot, too, but they basically keep it all for themselves (lots of 'HIV infected blood scandals' there).
EU regulations are a lot stricter and there's a distinction in the US between centers that *can* export to the EU and those that *can't* (mostly what temperature the plasma is core frozen at).
Some rare centers do pay for whole blood (was $400 last I checked, years and years ago), but most won't do it because of the frequency issues (you need 8 weeks to replenish any red blood cells). So plasma simply makes more sense.
Lying on the forms is a good way to get perma-banned from every company's centers. They share databases for many things, people who lie or bring in false documents being one of them. You're checked in these databases literally every time you visit.
Center personnel take training to identify and document any undocumented things like tattoos or even drug-use indicators. You can probably get past the reception desk but someone on the floor will likely notice. And if they send you to a physical, the medops staff will see things they won't.
The physical, history questions and even disease testing are all more robust than the normal ones you get at a hospital (yes, plasma physicals are more robust than a hospitals. I've spoken to two doctors about this who worked in both at the center I was employed ) and not everything is a perma-ban.
The heart rate thing? Just come back in like a day. That's a temp-ban (or 'defferal' in their language).
You can opt to donate all yours plasma proceeds to charity (complicated to set up, but automated once you do). And yes, the police monitor these areas and sneaky felons have been picked up there multiple times.
Oh, bonuses for frequent donating, too. Yes, the overall price does fluctuate.
Why the wall of text? BECAUSE I WORKED FIVE F******* YEARS THERE! So yes, I get worked up about it.
Sayin all that to say this: Use your plasma money on what ya like. You literally earned it.
