You could try to be less bitter. This game is usually played in a circle where everyone talks face to face. Trying to recreate that in real time is the top reason for creating an external real-time chat. It gives people less of a chance to censor themselves.
You could have created your own little group of people you trusted at any time. I don't see that you or anyone else who has a problem tried all that hard. How about people play games differently than you do, and leaving it at that. That would be polite.
