It's not because the majority was silent that they were happy with it. The majority is always silent and more often so if it's demonstrated that nothing you can do will change it (ie Ched's post before start). Remember Brexit and then Trump both happened and those are just recent examples of silent majorities expressing a differing opinion to the general perception. There is no such thing as a social norm telling everyone to speak up. However I can confirm that it's rather insulting to keep having this kind of false accusations thrown at you as a group.

Let's turn it around, I haven't seen the majority of these 10,000 non PP players speak up, they were certainly perfectly happy with not having a fair chance at winning. ;)

I'ld love a complete dataset. Identify the 204 and separate them in that graph to prove that female accounts have a similar ratio in xanax taken compared to other accounts and that the 204 are the only cause. Doubt that's going to happen though.

You might find PP was already stacked. As is all female accounts had access to PP, thus all top female accounts had access to PP instead of 1/3 last year meaning that technically even without the influx and sufficient interest PP could've been more powerful then other teams.

Assumptions:

1. Randomization should've gotten roughly 25% of all participating female accounts into PP and 75% distributed in the other 10 teams (this assumption can be validated without fishing out the 204 separately); check accounts for current sex within the 12 teams. Sure Girls are a minority but not that small of a minority seeing ched expected enough female accounts participating (assumption made from setting up 100% chance for PP in the selection process for female accounts to keep it as an option). If this data differs it can be due to 3 factors, girls really preferring to play together further stacking of the team than the 204 or not all female accounts had access to PP because the team filled up too fast (depending how the % tips).

2. Last year there were a good 500 participants in PP after a 1/3 chance so the interest for PP could've been good for around 1,500 accounts without the influx this year meaning the early slots (those filled by the most active people) would be filled faster too. There might be a lessened interest in the competition that you can factor in but given that PP was one of the 1,000 member teams it's probably safe to assume there was enough interest to fill it without the influx.

Additional checks

You could check the % of xanax use in general in female accounts compared to male accounts to validate that you have the same ratios to begin with.

Check the total number of active female accounts versus active male accounts in Torn to calculate a rough figure for interest in the competition by female accounts.

I hope to see what he'll do tomorrow even if things don't go as expected. Usually with some time people do come to senses and find better solutions to solve a perceived issue. Yesterday after the Shock I went to sleep slightly depressed, today I have already come to Testing. Let's hope we do get a realistic solution. ;)

I'm talking about the effect of the post made on the Duke account. Asking players to team up with him in targeting the people he felt cheated by. However, not putting the 204 names in; every other member of PP has been assimilated as a target by the playerbase still in the competition. "The team with transgenders must be eliminated for having transgenders" is the TL/DR for that post. Game mechanics pushed as many female accounts as possible into PP, the one who wrote that post is also responsible for the mechanic and is therefor de facto directing any hatred towards the girls caught in the middle.

Even if general consensus on the forums seems to be that there are also victims inside PP, I've also read a comment mocking the remaining player base of PP as incapable of standing our own without these men.

Maybe because the solution used by Ched has exactly that side effect, even if it's unintended.

My feeling is the exact same as Katida, being caught in the middle trying to get a similar experience as I had last year. I didn't sign up to win and I don't care about winning this competition. I cared about having a challenge and having fun as a team. First the challenge was taken away by a bunch of people that had sex changes, later a huge one was imposed on us.

I did about half my hits today and I'm not going to complain about being targeted by other people but some here seem to forget that there's more than 2 sides to a story. Several real players that did not cheat or approve the abuse of the loophole are being affected. I'm sure you can easily admit that it's more than 204. If the 204 were a problem they should've been removed from the competition (at any point in time before start, after day 1, day 2 or even later) without getting over 3,500 people caught in the middle. Vindication is only very rarely close to justice.

You're not limiting the effects to the 204 people and you bloody well know that.

If you want to have some form of retaliation against 204 players, eliminate them from the competition pure and simple, can't be harder than coding a script to target people who used the change sex feature.

I'm about certain I'ld even buy some subscription to these magazines...

Such a wonderfull store !!! I found a corner with fluorescent pink wallpaper. It had a huge pile of the cheapest cure for the least of all evils in it. I couldn't help myself but buy some of it ! Be sure to visit the Bazaar some time!
