Hi, my name's Flask. You may be wondering why my sex is male in this game, well, to be honest, it's kind of an alter ego thing. I know there are a lot of dickheads on here and well...I'm just punching myself in the face with opening this thread...but now you get a chance to ask a lesbian anything. Ask away, I'm generally pretty welcoming.

Can't say no to that.
FINALLY SOMEBODY GETS THIS. Heh, it's fine, though, there are PLENTY of hot lesbians out there. You go, sister.
Sorry if that reply made itself sound rude.
and...I don't really know? It's just that ever since I was born, girls seemed different to me. I never felt any type of attraction to men. I guess that's just how things work, some people don't like the opposite sex.
Well girls automatically think I'll hit on them and guys make a lot of sexist comments. It sucks.
Frankly, I did. To be honest, I'm not even completely out. I'm only out to my closest friends. My friends are all pretty accepting, but sometimes people make me feel really bad to be lesbian, and that doesn't feel that good. There is an accepting community out there for me, which makes me feel very safe whenever things that that happens.
Yeah, it is pretty important. I think it's a matter of choice, but if you want my advice, you should be out. It will be a hard journey, but being out makes you feel so much more free and you can discuss things with your friends without pretending to be straight.
Thanks for asking!
I think it's great that you apologized for your previous comments and I accept your apology-however I will like to disagree with your opinion on feminism and I think many people do not get what feminism means.
Feminism is the same as gender equality. Many people refuse to admit they are feminists because they think that feminism is the idea that women are greater than men. There are a lot of women that are feminists (i.e. Kristen Stewart, Ellen Page, Laverne Cox, Beyonce etc.) but there are also a lot of men who are feminists (i.e. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Patrick Stewart, Daniel Radcliffe, Will Smith etc.)
Feminists want men to stop treating women as objects and to stop treating them as inferior, and they also want to stop body standards and stereotypes for all genders. Feminism stands for gender equality, equality for all genders. We want to stop fathers from educating their sons that "boys don't cry" or "be tough, you're a boy". We want to stop mothers from educating their daughters that they have to look pretty, get married, have children, and do everything to please men.
I find it really sad when people on the internet say they're "anti-feminist" because they believe in gender equality. I think it's unjust how girls were taught to look pretty and they can't play with masculine toys or dress masculine, and boys were taught to be tough and they can't play with feminine toys or dress feminine.
It's society's view that needs to change.

Yeah.
Well I think it's just sexism and internalized homophobia that made me afraid of creating this thread. Now this thread is created and, oh, would you look at that.

Over the past 5 years, I feel like a lot of people have been more and more accepting to the LGBT community, and there are actually a lot of things that have happened to prove that (lots of representation in media, more people coming out etc.), and I'm really happy about that. However, I live in a country where traditional Asian culture is dominant, and that sucks because traditional Asian culture is extremely sexist and homophobic. It's a good thing I found out I was gay after I left Chinese school, because it'll suck if I was still there. People are very homophobic there.
I think the way to improve my fellow lesbian's lives are simply to start with feminism. I mean, there are lesbians that talk about being lesbian, and they can't talk about it without a guy being a douche and saying "oh, can I watch?" or something like that, and that makes a lot of people uncomfortable, also it participates in the act of objectifying women, and that's not cool.
Thank you for asking.
