Currently I am too poor to afford a nice house with a vault. I haven't joined a company because I'm focusing on my stats with the education job. I've been mugged 3 or 4 times today for a total of $104,635. I basically profit only from selling stuff like beer and bricks. Basically everyday my total is not going forward, BUT backward!
I'm not complaining about it, its the way the game works, but is there anything I can do to keep my money safe? I use investments but the minimum investment time is 1 week..that's 6 days of profit I'm getting nailed on. Is there no other way of me keeping my money safe?
So far I've been playing for around 55 days. I reached level 10 at about 50 days. My battle stats are around 4 Digits total, My work stats all average about 500 a piece. I don't attack often. I stick to the gym, -5 Nerve crimes, and keeping my education up to date. Am I leveling appropriately? I know I am not just going to become a powerhouse over night. This game takes time and patience, that's obvious, but if I can make it a quicker process, why shouldn't I? Anything you think I should do to tweak my daily activities, or do I basically have It locked down?
I've been doing the Gym Stat Improvements every chance I get, and I've been placing the stats equally between all categories. (example: 50 total strength, 50 total defense, 50 total speed, 50 total dexterity) Is this a correct and viable way to go about gym training or is there a more effective way to place my stats? I apologize if this has been posted before. I searched the forums for a good 15-20 mins and couldn't find anything this specific. All assistance is appreciated. thanks!
Hi guys, I'm still pretty new to the game. I see all the bonuses companies can give but they usually have some kind of requirements and I doubt as a level 8 who has played for ~40 days that I'd really be any kind of benefit.
What are the reasons for joining a company and should I do it now or just wait?
like I said, level 8
working stats are:
Manual Labor-380 Intelligence-220 Endurance-231
As of right now, I am a Master Sergeant in the Army.
Should I just stick with that, or should I try looking for some type of low level company to join with?
I feel that I am progressing rather slowly but I play multiple times a day and I am just trying to get a feel for the game. Mostly stick with going to the Gym, Crimes, and using the market to profit from small items such as bricks or beer. (lol ikr :/) I know I am not the best, but I'm learning :P that's why sometimes I feel that I could learn a lot from fellow members of a company. Any advice and/or criticism is much appreciated.
Anyone else having a problem with their Events and Mailbox page? I'm having a buggy user interface overall but the only one really affecting my game play is those two. I cant see any events, it just shows up as vertical bars. My mailbox messages pop up like I have a message, yet there are only a few words then it ends. I'm not sure how to fix it. It does it both on my Google Chrome browser as well as my Internet Explorer browser. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
I'm not much of a mugger, I mostly focus on training and making money through the item market, bounties, or crimes (which really isn't much). I myself don't mind getting robbed for money I'm dumb enough to not keep safe, but at the same time, I believe it to be difficult for someone as weak as me to protect what money I DO have. With the habit of constantly being mugged after selling something, or even claiming bounties, I am constantly having my daily profit drained. I don't even bother joining a company for money, I couldn't really keep it safe unless I was able to put it into an investment before someone got to me. You want to increase the percentage, go for it...but how about giving us lowbies a way to protect our money? Even just adding a vault to some of the cheaper properties like Mansions and such would help out a lot.

Do your best to not get RED, which reduces your crime exp, and causes you to lose nerve from your maximum nerve bar. You will need to gain more crime exp by getting GREEN, which in turn will raise your nerve bar back up to 20 and so on after that.
