Today is UFO day. I have been having a think this morning, and thought it would be great if Torn could honour this wacky day.
Perhaps an event could revolve around being able for one day to be 'abducted' and travel to Mars. In the alien market there could be some specials like an alien plushie, a Marrs candy bar or SpaceDust popping candy or some sort of alien gun to acquire. It could be interesting?
What are your thoughts on what potentially could happen?
The synopsis in the Torn Wiki suggests this fits the bill for Ched's event suggestion..it is open for many to participate and makes use of all the Torn features.
I think its been a long time since endurance was held, and maybe it can be use on a bi-annual basis swapping with Tags or Elimination
We have been leeching off of a good dead-ish account that probably now has about £400m on hand, but i'm aggrieved over the actions of a so-called faction mate resorting to hospitalising his own faction mate to get to the money first, I've decided to install some sort of sanity to the situation. If our faction cannot learn to share a good resource fairly then it needs to be taken away.

The gruesome thing that looked back at me as I opened the door on my PI, was in fact Mangosta (1864364), who, after having actually had a wash, was even more hideous.

Is a tricky situation, as passing stuff over arouses suspicion of laundering etc, especially where people use multis (looking at you dcbug (1760324))!, but good thoughts also SirBun! I'm interested to know what happens with stuff...perhaps it all goes in the Torn Dump?
From Duke's competitions i see that pictures are appearing directly in the replies, and i was wondering if someone could kindly describe the process for doing this? I am able to paste links to the hosting site, but i need guidance in the next step on displaying the actual pictures in the response
Last Christmas we said goodbye to Penelope our cat. We took her in from a cats and dogs home, after she was rescued from a breeding farm. She was very wary of people, but finally opened up to us and lots of love was finally shown. She was only with us a couple of years, but i hope that we were able to give her the great quality of life she deserved. She is greatly missed.
A fight I was in timed out (so I lost) and ended in hospital. I'm currently looking to achieve a killstreak for the above mission. My killstreak record within my 'personal statistics' correctly indicates I now have a killstreak of 0, however the mission still records I have a current killstreak (currently at 4) , so the mission statistic has failed to reset properly. Is this an error, as i would have thought this should reset to? I have been moving around Torn within one tab on my browser, but when i return to the mission page nothing has changed.
I have looked on my mobile (using the torn browser app, and this too still shows me with a killstreak of 4 for this mission
If it is not fixed i see this 'time out' method a way to avoid registering a defeat as a cheat to complete the mission.
