I have been role playing games in many genres since 1971. Yes that means I am old. I have been through snail mail games, tabletop games, video rpg's, live role playing games, etc. I also owned my own business and worked for years as an owners representative. The question I want to ask has several parts. First, what is best for business. If Torn is to continue it's success then it needs to attract and keep players. Will that happen if new players, factions, businesses are attacked and run out of their prospective goals? Probably not!!!!! Should players who are invisible be allowed to steal on a single mug what a relatively new player has worked for days to get? Should a faction, that is just coming out of the ground with only a few players be allowed to be attacked by a faction with 30 or more. Should level 30 plus players be allowed to keep level 15 and below in the hospital for hours..what does that do to the morale of the younger ones. I have surfed this game, spent hours each day checking out factions and the rules governing them. Same with just starting as a newbie and experiencing the good will and expertise of some of the more experienced players as well as the chaotic attacks and personal random acts of the push the new ones out mentality of some individuals who only want to remain the unknown someone. This is just thoughts to make minds work..What is best for business?

My semi-detached house is for sale but it is not listed in the newspaper homes for sale....what am I doing wrong?
I understand that the island give you a higher high range for happiness, but it seem to me that an additional step should have to be taken to attack someone when they are in they're home in a castle, island etc. As price goes up show should security. Just an idea.
I paid 50 points and downloaded the"city watch" shortcut/icon/program. When I first loaded it I entered my ID and password in the appropriate places. So I had a popup in my screen that notified me of events and messages, etc. going on in the game, and also provided a way to enter the game with the proper signin information. The first night I closed the popup (I didn't want the screach going on all night) and when in the morning I clicked on the shortcut/icon the popup would not popup. I have tried deleting it and reinstalling it, right clicking on the shortcut and left clicking on open, open as administrator, and any and all things that I could think of. The only way that I can get on the game is to go to my favorites and click on "Torn". I could have done a lot of other things with the 50 points but this sounded pretty cool.. Another good idea that doesn't work. Thanks to all.....Beau
