my uncle was a cop for 30 years. hes had to had to cut people off the end of ropes, arrest dads in front of their little kids and sons in front of their mothers, been shot at, and many other things too. he always kept it down but i know things like that probably ate away at him on the inside.
you never really think of all the things they have to see, hear, or experience with a job like that. not to mention people painting targets on all cops backs over the actions of some bad cops.
just something to think about.
