To anyone who stumbles across this thread, I'm partial to a cover song - those that offer a different take on a song, or just quirky ones, that you wouldn't expect.
Here are some of the ones I've come across. Please feel free to share yours too. Thanks
Based on the bestselling Edward St. Aubyn semi-autobiographical novels, five-part limited series "Patrick Melrose" skewers the upper class as it tracks the protagonist's harrowing odyssey from a deeply traumatic childhood through adult substance abuse and, ultimately, toward recovery.
In my opinion, it's like a posh version of 'Trainspotting' meets 'The Wolf of Wall Street'. Benedict Cumberbatch is fantastic in it. Worth a watch for those who like their TV dark and lurid.
You're right. The word genius (along with legend IMO) is often thrown around too easily these days. However, in Bowie's case, as you say, it's befitting.
A true pioneer, who continued to evolve musically across the decades and inspire future musicians from various genres.
I was shocked at his passing in 2016, which turned out to be a terrible year for losing some musical icons.
Thankfully at least we have the music they have left behind ðŸ‘
I enjoyed it, though there could have been a few more deaths for my liking - maybe I've watched too much Game of Thrones!! As another commenter mentioned, while Thor's change created some funny moments, I wanted the full God of Thunder before the film ended.
Film wise, love a bit of the original 'Mad Max' and the new version 'Mad Max: Fury Road'. Also love 'Zombieland'
TV wise, not sure if anyone remembers the 90s/00s series 'The Tribe'. Think it was a New Zealand production, but it aired in the UK. Loved it as a kid/teenager.
Quick question re. crashes. Does anyone happen to know whether it's completely random when you crash or can the balance of your car's upgrades affect it?
e.g. if you have high top speed/acceleration upgrades, but lower braking/steering upgrades, could this potentially cause you to have more crashes, due to the stats being top heavy and unbalanced?
Maybe I'm reading too much into something that's just random! ;-)
Two of my favourites. Capaldi was immense in this role, makes swearing into an art form! Enjoyed him in 'In The Loop' film version too.
”The guy is an epic f**k-up. He’s so dense that light bends around him.”
”I’m gonna need all of my f**king energy to f**king rip all of your bodies to bits with my bare hands and sell-off your f**king flayed skin as a sleeping bag to a f**king normal person.”
Also thought he was a good Doctor too. Agree about being the victim to uneven writing.
Depends on your humour/taste, but here's some of mine, that I don't think have been mentioned before.
Entourage, Lucifer, Misfits (UK version), Life on Mars (UK version), Patrick Melrose, Netflix Marvel series - Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage etc. Nurse Jackie, Peaky Blinders, Sons of Anarchy

Not sure if it was just me, but I thought I spotted the cast for the gauntlet in Dinklage's forge. Maybe if they obtain the stones they could use the cast to make a new gauntlet?
