I'm just laughing about the fact that Ramadhan brought us all together...on TORN! First ten days down guys...only 20 to go. I actually thought that going without food and drink a whole day was going to be impossible, until I tried it and found that its actually not so bad. Give it a go yourself if you're wondering whether or not you die at the end of it. The main purpose of it all is more than just a physical detox but also a spiritual cleansing. The need for food is replaced by thoughts of those who live like this without choice, so you learn to be grateful and compassionate. You're more focused on worship and after thirty days, your patience, your compassion and your good actions become a habit. You can't help but be a much more grateful and improved person after it. If anything, fasting is God giving us a chance to become better people.

But what exactly IS classed as evil? Its like nowadays, to some the violent attacks that are happening are caused by terrorist s. To others, they're freedom fighters trying to gain attention for their oppressed people. So who exactly defines what an evil act is? Is it society or the powers that be, who tell you what's wrong or right just so they can carry out their plans without being disturbed, whilst they partake in supposedly 'evil' actions themselves? Is their really any such thing as evil at all when you consider all perspectives?
Couldn't agree more. I guess that we can simply conclude that education is not what it used to be and that learning will always be something that we, as humans, will not only have an innate passion for, but also a desperate need for. Without learning, even if it means having to sit through lectures and exams, there would be very little to no progression for our species. Education is something that has always been engraved into space and time; it has been a part of humanity before mankind itself was created when even Lucifer learnt his lesson. To this day all wandering men, who claim to have acquired great wisdom from the thinking of philosphers, attempt to defeat this seemingly burdenous way of life. As new moons change their faces, and as history repeats itself, Man still attempts to deceive this supposed enemy. Its really rather funny that whilst the human conscience attempts to distract with the exotic and entrancing dances that it has learned, it fails to realise that education has always held the undefeatable shield of time, and simply stands in the corner watching bemused as it plays the blinded man in a game of his own creation. Why challenge your possibly greatest ally to a battle that you have already lost?
But in today's society, education doesn't simply mean seeking out answers to the questions you have. It comes with the pressures of doing well in every exam, otherwise your effort will be for nothing. Back in the days men would go out to simply learn more. Today the works of Aristotle or Galileo are only admired as the tied bullet point in a textbook that must be learnt otherwise we won't do well in exams. And THAT pressure leads people to resorting to ways out such as suicide....so is education really healthy?
That's an excellent question. The only answer I have is that Caps Lock was accidentally on and I was too lazy to turn it off. DON'T JUDGE ME!!! ( okay now I'm yelling)
Don't you think that as humans we have a higher intellect and the ability to differentiate between right and wrong? At the end of the day, if a lion gets hungry he'll even eat his offspring. It's survival of the fittest- the need to survive being shared between both the animal and human species. We have a higher intellect and at the end of the day, we'll do what we need to do to survive. Why not use a being of less intellect and understanding to aid the progression of an entire far more sophisticated species? Right now, mice are being used to discover a cure for Alzheimers, a not so 'pointless' cause. And isn't animal testing helping us beat cancer?
