Would love to see some unique outcomes for the gym, some dynamic performances for the gyms and therefore stats.
Example: Balboas gym have started a big marketing campaign, you have a gym buddy who pushes you and you get an extra 15% from that session.
At the moment it’s stagnant and repetitive, would be great to bring some more to this part of the game.

I agree with the nerfs too, similar to crimes where eventually you’ll run into some bad luck, mostly normal with the occasional unique outcome would be cool, just to make it a tad more interesting rather than stack, train repeat.
Like with any changes, they’ll be some resistance but the gym has been the same since the game started, a few unique trains (positive and negative) I’d like to see, how that’s formatted I’m not too sure. Although, with all the work on crimes 2.0 it seems logical to me that similar actions can be taken on the gym too.
Ideas like;
Preworkout - energy, happiness - potentially hosp time
Loyalty to gyms - increased gains
Timing of training - quiet gym (better gains) busy gym (worse gains)
Personal trainer hire - train more than one stat for same energy

Buying stocks/bonds too - if you get ones which provide energy (FHC, 100 energy, cans) use these to support your efforts in wars, ultimately it's flying for plushies until you can reach that.
Saying that I found Cesium in the city during my early days and that helped loads so keep an eye out in the city for something because you never know.
