There's a little thing know as integrity which you clearly don't exude. You're scummy and resort to poaching other people's employees rather than do the hard work yourself, which in turns speaks volumes about not only your character but you as a person, not to mention the kind of responses you have given to people in this thread.
You could have some of the following things;
A.) Reach out to those who don't already have jobs B.) Advertising in trade chat on a regular basis.
Those are only two examples but you're lazy and just want to go about doing things with the least amount of effort possible.
Instead of being honest and going about things in the correct manner in a respectful way you're undercutting those around you by poaching their employees which damages their companies, you're luring their employees away by promising them something better, some of them will just leave without an employee replacing them either which will result in hard earned stars being lost which in turn will not only hurt the company but will also hurt each and every employee in the company as well.
So is it any wonder that people are coming in here and calling you a piece of shit? You're acting like an asshole right from the very beginning where your reputation does have an impact on the way people will perceive you in the community, which will also impact the likelihood of being able to interact with certain groups in the future and also the affiliations you might have as well.
But you clearly don't care, you're in it for yourself and don't care who you have to step over to get your own way as long as you're on top right? Poaching is along the same lines as scamming in this game, while it might be completely legal to do it is still highly frowned upon.
Great way to start your journey out in Torn amassing such negative attention, it might not matter to you in present moment but the ramifications of these actions will show themselves down the line. Actions have consequences.
I think it would be nice to have a timer that counts down letting you know how close you are to finishing your networth merit. As it stands currently you only see that you have achieved 100% of the conditions for earning the merit.
The timer would work similar to the education timer, appearing among your other icons letting you know exactly how long you have left to hold your networth in order to acquire the merit. This timer would start as soon as your networth is upgraded with the daily tick.
Of course, if your networth dipped below the requirements the icon would disappear and you would have to then wait for the daily tick and have reached the necessary amount required for the timer to start.

In conclusions billfolds do appear to be somewhat profitable if you were to buy them at a reasonably low price. However, since I paid higher prices I took a $28,636,090 loss.
I've seen that people want a new location to travel to and I believe Australia would be great spot as there is currently nothing in that corner of the map.
Items specific to this location would be Golden Wattle flowers and Kangaroo plushies adding two addition items to the game.
Perhaps an education course you can take that would give you a slight multiplier boost to hunting in Africa.
E.G. Courses would not be available until you reached the required 25, 50 and 75 in hunting.
Multipliers could be 10% to start with upon finishing the first course up to a maximum of 30% upon completing all three educations.

Ive never been able to actually play any DDR arcade machines but if you're able to locate an arcade that has one nearby or within a reasonable amount of distance from where you live then I highly recommend that you consider engaging with the ITG (InTheGroove) community.
ITG is extremely competitive and people will generally travel from all around to play ITG machines together.
And of course I'll also recommend checking out the community that I originally came from as well.

I'd have to say aside from Torn that rhythm any and all rhythm games are also a favourite pastime.

I still actively play but I have to have breaks occasionally because these games have a tendency to cause problems such as tendonitis, carpal tunnel, and repetitive strain injury due to the fact players will sit and smash arrows for hours at a time for years on end.

I've been a diehard fan of Gunslinger Girl for 15 years now so I take every opportunity I can get to share this anime with other people.
The anime only has 2 seasons which cover the first two volumes in the manga (There are 15 volumes), if you end up liking the first season I implore you to read the rest.
I'll be completely honest with you about the fact that very few fans of this series enjoy the second season of the anime, primarily because it was picked up by an entirely different studio from that of the first season, which of course is immediately noticeable when you start the second season.
There are more reasons but that's one of the primary ones, however, that does not take away from how great the story truly is.

Speaking of Baldr he deserves to be mentioned here too, his guide is my go-to when introducing new players to concise and extremely detailed information on the game, well, aside from a good ol' mentorship.
When I think of players who have had an impact on the community over the years these are the kinds of people I think of, they're all prominent in their own respects, I think somebody else stated earlier that it's going to boil down to each individual person's interpretation who they think falls under this category.
I imagine it would have been pretty difficult maintaining that kind of networth and battle stats at level 1 without multiple accounts, not to say that it would be impossible but considering how restricted from the game you are at level 1 it makes sense if that was the actual reason for being fedded.

The meta has changed a lot over the past decade in Torn that's for certain, I remember when participating in wars was a mandatory requirement as a member of a faction, you had a specified quota of hits that were required to be met, and the only thing you got in terms of a payout was a reimbursement for any extra xanax you used, that or you were given xanax as a prize for being a top hitter.
I wouldn't call it an elitist approach more so than you were just being frank with others about the way the system used to work. Warring in general used to actually have meaning to it and I really miss that time in Torn where your faction worked towards making a name for itself, building up its reputation through wars that could last weeks, if not months, and the joy of seeing how far you've all come as a family with each passing year.
